its on the come-up and if you have a degree in Accounting or Business Management you'll find a job quick....

Has the Panthers, Bobcats and the Lowes Speedway
It can also be very dangerous if you go to the wrong spots

Charlotte gets credit but the Speedway is in Concord, a neighboring town.
The comparison to 90s Atlanta is fair. Hopefully we can avoid some of the mistakes Atlanta made as they blew.
That because lames like you only go to Black Ties. Raleigh has more nightspots Downtown patna. Charlotte is all business Downtown. Plastic ass hell. Tall buildings and no soul.
Charlotte is ok. Just a little too bland with not much personality.
It's a little bit of both. It's very corporate and sterile during the day but at night, it can be fun. We have too many White boys that get their cues from "Entourage" for me.
It's mostly the latter. Waaay too sterile. It's to the point of being almost surreal. Every club looks like it's a chain. On top of that it's only a handful of them. It's alright, especially since they added the rail line. However in comparison with cities of similar size it's a joke. There aren't any structures in Downtown Charlotte older than 25 years! Even with all of the money that gets pumped into DT Charlotte, they still can't buy any soul. The whole area looks like a suburban office park.

more to do in fayetteville and raleigh then charlotte
better looking women in charlotte though
grimier spots in asheville
peace and quiet in morganton, lincolnton, salisbury(found a lot of ethiopian and jamaican women in salisbury)
but overall the "second class citizen" a lot of blacks act like is disturbing down here.

The Raleigh Triangle Area, is definetly a better place to live than charlotte. We don't have professional sports, but we have something just as good as the panthers, bobcats, and nascar... We have Collage basketball Carolina, Duke, and NC State. We do have strip clubs where you can get head and whatever else. We have 1000 times the culture than charlotte, a 1m times the culture of Greensboro only fayetteville comes close, and that only because of the Military base.
If you want to go into Banking, fashion, or wanna be a star in the NBA/NFL move to Charlotte, many banks are headquartered there, but there are some in Raleigh. If you have any type of science degree, management degree, or are into real estate. Move to the Raleigh area. If you sell drugs, pimp or can survive unemployed move to greensboro very few jobs in the boro.

Ehh Graham street aint that bad, but Beaties Ford down by Trade st is still bad, that stretch from about where I85 ramps are to down past that Bojangles after you pass Smith... Thats kinda rough. Downtown aint really all that safe once you get to where the Transit center is. Dunno why the hell they thought putting Bobcats arena at THAT location would be a good idea. As for nightlife, it only really gets live around here for CIAA weekend. Otherwise you wasting your time clubbing, I might go to a few First Fridays this year, but last year I really got to the point where I had seen about half the chicks in the spot no more that a month before somewhere else. Crystals is the shit though, That part of Plaza rd is ghetto as fuck to, so dont sleep. The only club I want to hit up is that joint that used to be Menage, I drove by there and I saw a ton of bitchs on white couches and shit. Might be worth looking into. But yeah I say if your older than say... 26 you need to be booed up cause aside from the ghetto ass clubs (Crush, V lounge) wack as strip club(Nikkis, Onyx, Peaches and cream) there really aint much to do. Its sad when the hottest spot in the University area is Fridays on Friday night... YES THE RESTAURANT!!!
But I pay about 9 and change for a 3BR two bath 1,500 sq ft town home in the University area, my whips paid off and the recession aint really hit down here yet. So if you tryin to make moves, you better get in now, cause in 10 years its gonna be ugly down here. The Job market id pretty good considering what its like around the country, as long as you have some skills and no wrap sheet, you can basically slip and fall and get a job. But like I said, you want in NOW, because mad people are gonna move here when the bomb goes off, and you want to be the one on the other side of the door if you know what I mean. I been talking with the wife about moving down to NC for a little while now...one thing for damn sure, the cribs are dirt cheap down there. I saw a 4/2 outside of charlotte for 120,000. I saw a 4/2 here outside of Philadelphia that was 427,000. Houses are supposedly 37% less down there and pay for similar jobs is about 24% less...according to Forbes from about 6 months ago.

Been in the QC for 8 years born in the ville (Fayettnom) went to school in Durham (NCCU) go eagles!! If you trying to relocate it is only two options Raleigh/Durham area or Charlotte. The QC has been good to me plenty to do and downtown is off the hook CIAA but it is like most up and coming cities after you have been in them for a minute it gets boring... But we got them hoes with jobs... just get on at any bank and you can keep a flock of hoes at your beck and call...
