u can make numbers say anything u want. now, i am not saying that there is not a prob. with std's in the black community, but that they should consider other factors, like socioeconomic background info. its more likely that teens from similar backgrounds will have more in common and likely share some of the same life experiences when it comes to sex. all i am saying is that there is more to it than just white/black/mexican.

Its good you at least there is a problem but let me ask you what would considering "other factors" socioeconomic or otherwise, alter the results of ANY study let alone this one? And do you have a study showing something vastly different results than this one?

I agree, statistics can make or break you. But they also can show trends.

I'd like to know more about this study-- sample size, for instance-- how were these statistics produced?
