SEGA asks do you still own a Dreamcast?

Sega Japan is asking the world whether they still own a DreamCast. Sega has updated its Dreamcast website and opened up a section where DC owners can register using their DC's serial numbers allowing them to have a @dreamcast.com account. Check out the potential party over at Dreamcast.com.

they have just recently (last year maybe) stopped making games for it. games like what you will find in xbox live arcade and psn but new games that play on the dreamcast none the less and usually given out for free.

I have a feeling Sega is about to drop a new one. This sounds like they are testing the waters to see if the demand is still there. Since the Videogame wars are pretty much a stalemate with no clear victor ( Microsoft's console is junk, Sony is still reeling from its botched PS3 launch and Nintendo can't meet demand), Sega may see an opening to launch a more powerful Dreamcast 2.0 to crush the others.

Sure it was. Far worse than the Atari Jaguar and 3DO. Arcade perfect video games released simultaneously with the coin-op versions, original games, a playable memory card, online gaming, graphics that were superior to the PSOne. Yeah it sucked as much as your opinion.
