I actually agree with the thread starter, i would love to live in a country with mostly black people, with a system we set up ourselves and government ran by us, for us. I would love for us to have nuclear weapons and a big strong ass army and set up a capitalism/free market that actually worked for the people. The only way I could see something like that happening though is if you got all the black millionaires and billionaires together and collectively agreed with a foreign african government to commit to bring the country to a position of power over the course of 30-50 years or whatever. Imagine how much scrutiny that would get from the crackers of the world lol.
People...There is a place called Africa that is under developed and bursting with potential to become a great nation...People of African descent to me are the most creative and resilient on earth without having to kill off other races or any shit like that...All Africa needs is some direction ....In America black people only technically got rights about 40 something years ago...We still lived in shitty places and got scraps to eat...What happened?..We still do however the culture is such a phenomenon that it is embraced by other races...American blacks have little culture to fall back on because of the nature of us(slavery) being here....But I mean after 400 something years of slavery..we get 40 years or so to sort ourselves out its going to be difficult...Other races all had diseases and stuff to stop them from being slaved and their countries raped...because they were not a good investment...SO people don't think for a second Jews, Indians, Asians and Latinos are any much better than us...We got 400 years of hell to get rid of(not saying thats an excuse to do shit!)...We built this world
You don't get it. I'm not talking about us moving to an already occupied country. Then we'll be ruled and governed by the Africans. (their lifestyle, and culture is already established).
What we as "U.S. Blacks" need is, our own independent country (preferably this one) where we are in charge from day one.

Whaa? The US Government "giving" us our own country? LOL! Did the Native Americans "give" this country to the whites or did the whites invent weapons, and used them to kill off the native Americans and took this land from them?
I don't want the US Gov. to "give" us shit... I want us to "take" this country from them (and ALL their domestic and foreign assets) the same way they took this country from the Native Americans: By force.

US states are pretty much their own country. so why not have a large % of african americans pick a state or two and just move there? what about one of those lightly populated ones - Montana? Its got less than a million people. Shouldn't be too hard to get a million black folks to move somewhere.

this is actually an interesting thread. I don't agree with the poster. I don't think latinos are our ememies. And if we are, they consider us enemies more than we consider them.

And in fact, the civil rights movement NEEDED the militancy of the BPP, of SNCC, of the NOI, etc. in order to push them towards dealing with more moderate voices like SCLC, Dr. King, CORE, the NAACP, etc. It was a riff on the classic "good cop / bad cop" strategy, basically.
