Scientist in Japan claim to have discovered Planet X

I'm Lost, Can somebody tell me or point me in the right direction... whats so special about planet.. and why do u think this is or is not that planet.. and if it is... whats so special about it?? :confused:

forgive me if im wrong but they are trying to say is planet x is gonna land on your head/planet earth in 72 years.

lol... umm... ok, should i be worried? i'll probably be dead in 72 years.. or better yet... God would have come back by than...

You mean they actually found the planet they made me use in all my damn physics problems in college dealing with circular motion and gravitational forces?

Are the people that inhabit it just as "arbitrary" as the planet is?
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

There are several reasons for trying to figure out what it is. I'll give a few:

1 The Earth has a history of extinctions that seem to take place around every 26 million years. Most stars seen in the Universe are at least binary systems and some scientists have suggested that our sun is in a binary system. This small unseen companion star, "Nemesis", would have a highly elliptical orbit around our sun and it is either a red dwarf, brown dwarf or neutron star.

When Nemisis is at it's closest to us they believe it propels debris from the Kuiper Belt back into the solar system in the form of comets and asteroids that strike our planet and nearly kills all life on Earth.

2 Even with Nemisis (possibly) being out there the Kuiper belt should by all accounts be a continuous belt of debris at the edge of the solar system, but it has vast blank areas that suggests something is not just plucking things towards the inner solar system but it's moving in and out of the debris and cleaning out these areas. Some believe this is evidence of a planet in orbit around the sun that hasn't been found yet.

This unknown planet, "Planet X", moves in and out of the Kuiper Belt and should be at least the size/mass of Jupiter to have this vacuuming out effect of the Kuiper Belt. Planet X could help explain why Pluto is way off the Ecliptic Plane that every other planet in our solar system orbits on.(give or take a degree) And would also explain periodic extictions IF there is no Nemesis out there.

3 There are those who believe that the ancient Gods come from a yet to be discovered planet that is in orbit around the sun. This "Planet X" would have to be beyond the orbit of Pluto wich would put it in between the Oort Cloud and the Kuiper Belt. But being that far out would render any planet to being almost at "absolute zero" in temperature and therefore unable to support life ... as we know it.

There is a happy medium where the two theories come together. The new idea is that there is a Red or Brown dwarf star with planets around it that has a highly elliptical orbit around the Sun. This orbit takes that solar system maybe as far out as the inner edge of the Oort Cloud and as close as the outer edge of the Kuiper Belt.

The planets in orbit around that "Nemesis" have at least one of them that travels through the Kuiper Belt causing the clearing swath seen by astronomers. A planet closer to the Nemesis star could have all the requirements for life and might be the "Planet X" the Gods or aliens come from.

The interactions between these two solar systems could maybe explain the heavy cratering of most planets and moons in our solar system, the retrograde rotation of Venus, the Asteroid Belt formation, the extreme tilt of Uranus, The offline orbit of Pluto and many other questions that arise when looking at our solar system.

thank you for talking the time to explain this... i'm very interested in this type of about our solar system.. i will def research this.. thanks, makes me wanna retake my astronomy class.. lol

Glad to be of some help.
There may be errors as I tried to be brief to avoid Colin's entrance. lol

Each one teach one.
