I believe Black people have always made major recgonized strides in the military, as opposed to corporate amerikkka, and even academia. Even though there are probably thousands of NCO's(non-commissioned officers) who deserve to be mentioned just on the strength of their valor and dedication...

Very accurate statment. I once saw a book on African American Sergeants Major. Very intriguing book that detail a lot of NCO's who were able to over come hardship and lack of education in there lives to attain the highest enlisted rank.
