Arrests Made After Child Brings Crack To School
Parents, Uncles Face Child Endangerment Charges
TRENTON (AP) ― Four adults have been arrested after a school principal found 70 grams of crack cocaine on a seven-year-old, police said.

The boy's parents and two uncles were arrested Monday after he brought the drugs to Trenton's Parker Elementary School.

Police said they responded to the school after the boy's 10-year-old sister saw the drugs and reported the incident to the principal's office. Police said she was afraid her brother would get in trouble.

Police said The Division of Youth and Family Services has taken custody of the siblings.

The identities of those arrested, who are between the ages of 19 and 27, have not been released. They've been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and drug offenses.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.

that 2 1/2 oz....where im from 1 gram = $100 street level & 1 oz = $1000 if ya selling weight. But if it 70 grams it was probably sold as a pkg deal. Never heard of a 70 gram pkg. on our end they sell 62's (2 oz & a quarter)...not that i know anything about the game or nothing

I don't know how many grams of crack equals one dose. I imagine that 70 grams of crack means the boy was carrying a large number of crack vials.

Also, I imagine that drug recognition is part of a teacher's education these days (Kinda like aircraft profile recognition back during WWII). There is a declared "War on Drugs", and the schoolyard is one of the main battlefields. Drug Identification is probably part of Drug Wars 101.
