Rumors continue to swirl about Jay-Z’s still-unconfirmed new record label, Carter Music Group. We hear that Jay is partnering with rapper Nas on an album of duets, “The Kings of Hip Hop,” to be released on the label early next year. Jay’s rep is keeping tight-lipped.

I've been wanting this for years. I hope they can still manage to be relevant in today's bullsh*t landscape. It seems like the younger generation is too fascinated with the dumb sh*t like Soulja Boy, etc. to be concerned about a Jay-Z/Nas collaboration album.

Murder Inc album never dropped due to DMX's issues.
Besides that, I think it would be good for them, and it will probably be the last of what they will release. Their time has come and the younger generation think artist like Lil Wayne, Soulja, & others are lyrical giants..smh
The best thing for the Carter Music Group is to get the remaining old school true hiphop artists on it.
