I'm Black but we are NOT the first nor the greatest of the Species.
Im a amteur Archaeologist with studies in Ancient History.. not HIS-Story.. whoever the fuck he is.
The planet was populated and destroyed many times for various reasons and causes. Humanity is much older than we think. The problem is that with modern science there is simply no way to go back and find EVERYTHING. It's just not possible.
How many people swam in the same ocean where the Temple in japan was found, and never saw a thing?
There are so many thing's yet discovered and many more discovered but not disclosed, it's sick.
The one thing I know about our worldis that EVERYTHING is recyclable , except Styrofoam. SO that tells me that the ancients never produced that crap. We are the first to do so. Our ancient technology. may be wholly created by us.. OR with the help of Alien influence.
There really is no way that a little over 100 years ago we went from, not being able to fly. To going to the moon. Yet it took thousands of years for us to reach that point.
Theres so much Information/mis-information out there it's crazy. Everyone has an agenda, each side has a goal. That is to protect the familiar and the ordinary.
I can't convince people evolution exists.. even though I see it everyday.
I can't make people believe that we aren't the pinnacle of our world.
Best thing I can do is enlighten myself and provide that information to everyone to form their own opinion.
My Agenda and goal: To provide thoughtful discourse..whether you believe it or not. Makes no difference to me.
Taz, how do you know this? The great thing about logic is that if you are able to poke a hole in one part of someone's argument or position, then you have proven that they are somewhat not credible as a whole. Notice, I saw somewhat, letting you know that there's a possible (however slight) chance that they still might be true in the other points they've made. With that said, how is styrofoam not recyclable??
It's not biodegradable, but it is certainly recyclable. Now if you're talking about the shit that Dow made around the 1940's that's used to insulate houses, I don't particularly care for that, but it's still recyclable. If you're talking about cups, coolers, or packaging material, then you're specifically talking about polystyrene, in which I know is of great use to scientist and is recyclable as well. Polymers man, they are just modified and copied from nature. I would expect that any technology that's advanced beyond our wildest dreams would also go beyond the limits and capabilities of their pure natural resources as well...i.e. why would we need to ween ourselves from petroleum/fossil fuels?? That's as natural as it gets, but is just very dangerous to our environment.maaaaaaan good post Taz
What I bolded is something I thought about extensively as well. I sit in archeology class thinking to myself "hmmmm it took us thousands of years to fine tune Archeulan tool technology as early humans but we are capable of perfecting flight in little over 60 some odd years"
I understand their is progression but I don't think we give the ancients their due, and there is more to be discovered we don't know about from our forgotten past.
All I can say about this Smoke and Taz, is that technology is exponential. I do believe that at some point in the distant past we were on the path that we are on now technologically. However, if you're not cautious and aware of yourselves as well as your surroundings, you will lose all. There is also something that is called A.I. evolution. Once you start being able to pack information into smaller and smaller environments, then you therefore increase in knowledge and power (a spin on Moore's law). It's in effect the reverse of nature. I believe that once we are able to put transistors into DNA, you will find that we, ourselves, will evolve exponentially. I think we'll see that in the next 20 yrs.
