Dr. Doom vs Iron Man = best Marvel idea in a looooooonnnnng time

meh. i'm not impressed. you can't tell me that two "super geniuses" actually fight using ONLY their fists and blasters. dr. doom, one of the better villains in Marvel, ruler of his own country who is used to being attacked, has no defenses except for a bunch of robots.

Dr. Doom vs Iron Man = best Marvel idea in a looooooonnnnng time

i have some books from the 80's where they fight, fuck up and end up in King Arthur's court. they work together piecing their busted armor together and make a time machine that brings 'em both back.

this story looks like an updated version of that one.

the times square scene on the next to last page looks like something lifted straight from one of the 80's books.

It's a continuation

if this site has already been cached by search engines then it won't matter what you do. If it has not been cached then why should we change?
Besides if you don't post titles then how can you search for the issue?
Best way is to prevent the search engine bots from reading this thread and just don't tell anyone about this part of the site.

Sticky this right here for all to read.

But I don't think that it would be a bad idea to make links anonymous. If I knew how to do it, I'd help. Anyone have a tutorial?

Just got done reading up to 43 excellent series, gonna cap off and finish the rest of them.. One problem I do have, not particularly with the writer, but it's over the Michonne rape torture scene, anyone find it funny, if you did read the letters at the end of the book how people complained, then it died, and even after all those issues passed people are still writing in to say how it wasn't racist, and this guy is still publishing them?

You would think if people wanted an argument to be over they would just drop that shit, but as typical of certain white individuals they just make themselves look worse trying to prove so hard that they're not.....

:smh::smh::smh:

Like how white folks always quantify a statement with, "I'm not racist, but...."

First I'll preface this by saying that I truly enjoy the series. But Michonne's numerous rapes were disturbing. I have noticed that the worse things seem to happen to the black characters (Michonne's rape & Tyrese getting decapitated while alive). The other characters just get eaten, shot or body part cut off. Although the governor did catch a bad one. But he isn't a main character, atleast not yet.

I can chalk it up to two things. One Kirkman is subconsciously racist. Or he's making a statement of the treatment of blacks in society in general. I'd like to think that it's the latter rather than the former but time will tell. If I think that the former is the case then I plan on writing Mr. Kirkman and take him to task on it.

Actually, the search engines probably do have these pages cached. I took a look at the metatags for the latest comic page and found this:

<meta name="keywords" content="~ Comics New releases ~, vbulletin,forum,bbs,discussion,jelsoft,bulletin board, blackgirl online, black girl, sex, black sex, sex discussions, sex forums, black sex forums" />
<meta name="description" content="~ Comics New releases ~ BLACKGIRL ONLINE" />

HNIC needs to clear the keyword tags from any of the pages that he wants to keep hidden. Right now, a Googlebot could easily index the comics page.

Garth Ennis' THE BOYS to be adapted for the big screen!!!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Columbia Pictures just nabbed the feature rights to Garth Ennis' THE BOYS, about a group of CIA agents who enforce the law among superheroes... if need be, using lethal force.

I haven't picked up this Ennis series yet (although I love his PREACHER series), but the idea of a real-life look at superheroes interests me... for the same reason I love UNBREAKABLE. I love that kind of shit.

the Black pops and his son are basically living in peace. white folks have been getting bodied all the way through, and Rick has gotten FUCKED up the whole series. damn, the first page he was introduced on had him getting buckshotted into a coma.

and YEAH, the Gov got sca-rewed. spoon shoved up the ass, the same spoon gouged out his eye. fingernails removed from his hand, then his entire arm cut off, dick nailed into a board, then CUT OFF...

...this is just a brutal story period, for all characters.

and it doesn't really move me. i need a bad ass in the story to grab my attention.

I almost wanted to make a new thread for this but...

WHO THE HELL IS THE RED HULK?!!! Is it one of the Hulk's old supporting cast members? Or maybe even one of the Warbound? I'm confused as usual, another Marvel mystery :confused::confused:

Yep, I remember reading their last matchup, I didn't know it's been that long. This last comic is just a prelude and not the full battle, so I'm not disappointed yet. I just liked the writing, and how they showed the similarities between the two.

And Marvel isn't about to disappoint me in any serious way anymore, I realized after the end of Civil War, they don't finish storylines, they just leave you hanging so you keep reading. Secret War, Planet Hulk, Civil War, World War Hulk...and I'm sure Secret Invasion will be more of the same. :hmm:
