~ Comics New releases ~

Looks like it's becoming a little harder to get a certain company's books... Only a matter of time before a legal threat is issued and HNIC has to cover his ass.

We need to look into a more secure way of doing shit before it hits the fan...

In the meantime, big ups to all uploaders. Your efforts are very much appreciated.

problaby that cornball Reginal Hudlin. First he cries about Boondocks, then he comes to look at pussy he can't get and finds people reading comics for free.

He's most likely trying to kiss up to Marvel to keep him on Black Panther. I love Black Panther as a character but this dude ain't bringing out the full potential of the character. BP took out the whole F4 in his first apperance, now he's getting tricked by frogs?

I'm about to send a bunch of clips from the unaired Boondocks ep to him. Punk ass.

Now ain't this something?:confused::hmm: Howard Chaykin's artwork looks great in this month's Punisher War Journal, but for Blade's entire run last year he delivered artwork that should have never left the artist's table.:smh::smh::smh:WTF!!!!!:angry::angry:

I've been buying the Punisher W.J. since they came out in Civil War...i specifically didn't purchase this because Chaykin's the artist..he's the worst to me...i despise his artwork!!!:smh:

yeah, we kinda lit Chaykin up in the Favorite Artists thread. He's in a 3way tie with Romita, Jr and Liefield as most overrated artist.

John Romita Jr will always be a fav of other artist and companies because his style is old school and reminds them of Kirby and the comics they read when they were kids.

I can tolerate his art, he had a pretty good Uncanny X-Men run in the 80's.

Who is more raw than the punisher and cyclops right now?

I just read the latest X-Men issue and I have to say the Scott and Emma's relationship makes me uneasy.

I remember Emma as the Hellfire Club's White Queen, she is ruthless. I put her in the same boat as Mystique.
When Jean returns something big will happen between those three.
I don't think this is going to end well.
Scott doesn't have good relationships with telapaths (Xaiver, Jean, Psylock, Emma) he find a normal mutant and settle down in Alaska some place.

Let Storm or Xaiver come back and lead the X-Men.

jean technically came back on Phoenix Endsong (there are 2 Endsong and Warsong i can't remember right now which is which) and both scott and wolverine were almost eager to ''kill her'' again

Those stories aren't canon though. They take place in a divergent timeline.

Romita is alright.

He's like a poor man's Frank Miller...

The Walking Dead (outside of The Crow) has been one of the few comics that my girlfriends read. Everytime and issue comes out we spend a few hours talking about what we would have done in this or that situation or what's going to happen next. Great series. I bought all of the trades.
