New Hulk Movie a few pics

There are other options you clueless douche. Prostetics, puppets, robots, make-up. Also, i wasnt referring to a total elimination of CGI, i was just hoping it wouldnt be overdone like it was in the first film. It appears to be that way from the limited stuff i've seen. The 2003 Hulk was horrendous and far too mechanical and cartoonish.

I am dying over the thought of PUPPETS for the Hulk. When did they create a robot that can move as realisticly as a real human, much less like an 8 ft, 1500lb monster? And makeup & prosthetics is what was used on Lou Ferrigno for the tv series.

Your limited perspective clouds your judgement. Listen, think LOTR, Alien, and Predator when you hear terms like "puppet" or "robot". Also, The TV series with Ferrigno did NOT use prosthetics son (unless you count the face plastic/rubber they used to make him look pissed), that was all make-up and body paint. Again, these things along with CGI would be better suited for this movie as opposed to the completely overdone CGI cartoon show they paraded out in 2003.

I still don't know why they won't use the comic origin. Rick Jones taking responsibility for causing Banner to turn into the Hulk would be a great storyline---But they still keep on pickin some other type shit.

uhhh....u talking about this??

lol i think he means 4. but thats probably a ways off with the wolverine and magneto project...

You might want to take a look a Underworld and it's sequel. They proved you can make a decent looking monster without having to go completely CGI. Best thing for the Hulk is for them to limit the CGI to a minimum and use as many physical effects as possible.

Storyline
"The Incredible Hulk" kicks off an all-new, explosive and action-packed epic of one of the most popular superheroes of all time. In this new beginning, scientist Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) desperately hunts for a cure to the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashes the unbridled force of rage within him: The Hulk. Living in the shadows--cut off from a life he knew and the woman he loves, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler)--Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis, General Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt), and the military machinery that seeks to capture him and brutally exploit his power. As all three grapple with the secrets that led to The Hulk's creation, they are confronted with a monstrous new adversary known as The Abomination (Tim Roth), whose destructive strength exceeds even The Hulk's own. And on June 13, 2008, one scientist must make an agonizing final choice: accept a peaceful life as Bruce Banner or find heroism in the creature he holds inside--The Incredible Hulk.

Trivia
- Due to the disappointing performance of Ang Lee's 2003 "Hulk", Marvel decided to start the franchise afresh with a totally new creative team and cast rather than set this up as a direct sequel.

- Despite this, the origin elements explored in 2003 will not be retreaded here with Banner already undergoing the changes from the start of the film. Scribe Zak Penn says tonally the film will be more similar to the TV series or Bruce Jones' run on the comic.

- Penn wrote three drafts, before departing in early 2007. Actor Edward Norton, who had rewritten previous films he starred in, wrote a new draft, which pleased the director and the studio in establishing the film as a reboot.:puke:

- Norton's draft added Doc Samson and made references to other Marvel characters.

- Producer Avi Arad has also said that the Hulk would be more strongly portrayed as a hero than in the previous film. Arad also said the film would be "a lot more of a love story between Bruce Banner and Betty Ross.":mad::mad::angry::angry::angry:

- Sam Elliott stated he would have liked to have reprised the role of General Ross he played in 2003's "Hulk" but the part went to William Hurt.

- Eric Bana turned down reprising the role, as he viewed the first film as a one-off opportunity.

- Despite the villain being known as the "Abomination" in the comics, Penn considered this name too silly:hmm:... and states he will only be referred to by his real name Emil Blonsky on screen. Blonsky will also not have a Russian accent.

- The Incredible Hulk joined Toronto's Green-Screen initiative, to help cut carbon emissions and waste created during filming.

- Leterrier plans to use make-up and animatronics in combination with computer-generated imagery that had solely been used to portray the Hulk in the previous film. Norton had indicated he will provide motion capture for the character.

- The Hulk's size does not increase as he becomes further enraged, staying at a consistent height unlike in the last film.[/QUOTE]:hmm:

I HATE Hollywood. They F-up everything comic book related. This movie will suck just like the last one.

I can almost say now, seeing and hearing whats on deck, alot of people are going to go back and appreciate the first film for what it was when this comes out. It took a fresh approach to the series, these guys are taking elements from th TV show, instead of the comics(somewhat). And the love story shit, i liked that they really didnt go there in the first one, they touched on it and kept it moving. Its should be paced better yes, but the love story shit will ruin it for me

co-sign

Dude has a very limited understanding of the special effects process.

They should take a LOTR approach even Dr.Jekly from the awefull League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was better than the Shrek model they presented as the Hulk in 03

In the last movie he HULK fought two BIG POODLES

Yes,and the Hulk was as big as a house but still managed to wear Banner's pants without ripping them.

Ang Lee raped that movie...it was the worst Marvel movie adaptation ever.
This one looks much better.

The fuck stupid shit are you talking about? You think I want to pay $20.00 to see some cheap shit like this running around the screen in slowmotion like in the 70's.

Unless you can find a 9ft tall 2000lb actor than cgi it is and thank God for it

Fucking CO-SIGN! The niccas who say they want a man in a suit have no idea what the hulk is. "A being that grows with his rage and every assault against him makes him stronger". How the fuck you gonna pull that off with a cock strong dude in make up?

Where the first one failed this next one will succeed!

The problem with the first Hulk movie was the villian was weak. What the hell was that thing his dad turned into at the end?

His Dad was pretty much The Absorbing Man in the First film...

I always felt the first film was one for adults. I recall the showing I went to, all these little kids with their parents. All you heard throughout the theater was, "MOMMY! WHEN'S HULK COMING?, MOMMY WHERE'S HULK?"

This shit almost ruined the first film for me. But since I was the only one of my crew that liked it anyway...OH WELL.

Hell. Even Ang Lee makes jokes about it now.

Of all the characters they could have used.......................... :smh:

I'm still surprised that a Marvel movie for a character of this caliber still doesn't have any teaser trailers out yet is going to be in theaters this summer. Unless the trailers really blow me away when I do see them, I'll be watching only the Iron Man & Batman movies this summer.
