Damn, we eat at a lot of the same places Femme !! I will add Ikhla's seafood(owned by a classmate), Chantrelle's (black owned in the west end), The Pecan in college park (black owned, brunch is unbelievable on sunday)and Bluepointe in Buckhead...

ATL: Def. cosign on Yasin's, Flying Biscuit, Copeland's, Chanterelle's, used to dig the Shark Bar but its been a minute, same for Houston's and Maggiano's...still have a soft spot for Pascal's in the AUC but I dunno if it is still open--same goes for Bankhead Seafood for the ultimate fish hookup.. I like Golden Buddha a lot for Thai...

NY: Dinosaur BBQ, Negril's, Temple in the Village, Amy Ruths (although its falling off a little), Mo Bay's, Uptown Juice Bar, Bamiyam (my secret Afghan spot), Floridita's on 125th, Flor De Mayo (either one), Malecon in the Heights...

Tampa: La Teresita's, the original Columbia Restaurant in Ybor, and the Waffle House on the late night.

These are all spots of mine too. You should check Mannas. Theres a bunch of them throughout Harlem. Real good and pristinely clean soul food buffet.

You should also check the veg spot Striktly Roots (nothing that swims crawls flies or walks)

as for mannas i never saw any koreans in there. i was under the possible misperception that it is a black owned business.

Chow Baby, Pancake pantry (nashville), P.F. Changs, Carrabaas, Pappadeaux

Those two are pretty good...

I also cosign on Copeland's, Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro and, if you're ever in New Orleans, ZEA on St. Charles. Some of the freshest, most tender catfish I have EVER tasted!

ATL: The Busy Bee on MLK in the AUC...best soul food joint in town! The food is as good as homemade.

rarely ever do the chain resturants but i went to this place in arizona called Gordan birsch the food there was pretty good. Usually i try to get recommendations from the people i work with in the different citites and try their local favorites.

not seeing the fascination with cheesecake factory...the food isn't really all that.....

same with p.f. changs

went to both and was not impressed...

real good eating and very nice atmosphere bonefish grille, Otani's and shula's steakhouse

Co-sign.

I've had cheesecake factory in 3 different cities and every meal that I've had has been bland.

Same with applebees, that shit is disgusting.

Oh lemme give some of mines.............. to me Copelands in Atlanta is verrry wack, but that's just me

Pappaduex>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Copelands ALL DAY....

La Fonda on Ponce, not the other locations.

Carne N'espo (maybe shouldn't have given this one....$11.50 all you can eat for the same shit you pay $50 somethin bucks for at the mainstream caucasian Brazillian steakhouses.......you gotta go to the Brazillian hood tho' to find it.....plenty of sexy brazillian chicks in there alll day, wifey be getting aggy)

Matsuri----Banging Sushi, Steaks and all that-----I can't fuck wit the noise at some of the other sushi spots in the city hrrmmm Rusans..............

Figo-----good italian, very cheap, big portions............

couple more in the A I'ma keep on the LOW...............:lol::lol::lol:

I like having my spots that people don't be up on.

I think you hit most of my favorite places. I will add George's Garage.

Also, Sandwiches Unlimited in East Orange. The food is cool, but the staff preparing the food are retarded. It's straight comedy in that place.

Kanki Japanese Steakhouse is one of my favorites.

Mike Hitchen's - great little intimate spot, good location, good atmosphere, I personally know the chef so he always cooks my favorites

Fast Food: Sonic, only because of the drinks.
Luby's Drive-Thru, it counts, it's fast, a good hearty meal

Mid-Level: Chili's, just the bomb for a fun date that ain't great restaurant quality
TGIFridays, Jack Daniels sauce is the shit, I made it at home and got pissy pissy.
Razzoo's, nice cajun spot, good bar

Good shit:Ruth's Chris Steakhouse
Birraporetti's, Italian
Cafe le Jadeite, French/Asian fusion, le magnifique
I could go on....but ain't nobody from my town.

PF Chang...Ru San's...Nikkimoto..prolly not spelled right, on Piedmont & 10th?...KC Pit BBQ (I think a sista owns it) on Hildebrandt..Chops, Bones, Ruth's Chris, Atl Fish Market, Dantana's, The Tavern at Phipp's, Houston's (the French Dip sandwich is the best in the world)..I'm prolly forgetting a hundred other faves..I eat out ALOT!!
