I'm from Brooklyn. I listened to nothing but Hip Hop, either what me and my crew recorded, or what was being produced by the pioneers of the genre. You got MCs everywhere in New York, all vying to be lyrically superior to the next. Stupid people were not listened to. If these teenagers are too stupid to handle anything beyond soula boy, they don't need to be in the club. they need to be in a book somewhere getting their game up worried about being able to eat after highschool.
