Yo Can anybody answer this? I been away from comics for a long time and just started getting back into it thanks to Stinker!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanna know how Nick Fury became a black man? That shit bugged me out the first time I saw that shit. I mean its about time but I grew up to a white Nick so 10 years later I pick up a comic book and dude is Black? What happened? Melanin count experiment?

That's a different Fury. Ultimate Nick Fury is black, the normal Marvel Universe Fury is white.

Ultimate Marvel Universe is a reimagining of the traditional Marvel Universe in a more 21st century setting. The first books started in 2000 and their are numerous changes. The main books are Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Ultimate X-Men and The Ultimates (Avengers) followed by several miniseries. One of th emain changes of course is Nick Fury who i sa significant figure that ties all of th ebooks together and he is a Black man and he didn't fight in WWII like the traditional Fury. It's interesting to note that Fury was styled after Sam Jackson who has signed on to play Fury in the upcoming Iron Man movie.

Nick Fury is black in the Ultimate Marvel Universe

The Universe is a sort of reboot of the Marvel Universe that was started back in 2000.

His appearance is based on Samuel L. Jackson, who gave Marvel permission to use his image...

Yeah when Madrox and layla first went to "a" future and I heard the term Concentration camp. I knew it was Bishops future. Also the fact that they havent focused at all on the other Madrox dupes, led to this speculation.

he didn't finish because he was too busy with Lost but the series is supposedly not cancelled. EIC Joe Quesada has said that the series will return once he has all 3 of the final scripts in. He has gotten at least one if I'm recalling it correctly but he won't release any until th eentire series can be published.
