Isn't a 72 hour hold for the mentally ill?

Anyway, I mentioned it because I remember reading 72 Hour Hold by Bebe Moore Campbell. Very good book.

Man this ticks me off, this girl is almost completely cracked, and had genders been reversed, not only would it have really been a wrap, but they probably would charged him with kidnapping for not coming out of the bathroom.....or something.
The court system is completely skewed in the womans favor. I remember a judge asking me WHY I wanted custody of MY CHILD. I asked him if he had kids, and when he said yes, I asked him why he wanted custody of his kids. He kinda grinned and said be careful what you wish for. I told him I failed to see the humor in the situation, and the fact that my attorney was charging me by the hour didn't help.
Yeah, this is a little personal for me.

Britney's a few steps beyond bipolar. Hell, she's a few pole vaults beyond that point.

Mine is ongoing right now. Next hearing is in FEB. Hoping against all hope.
Yeah, I did. One of the other things I told the judge is that there are a lot of black men that would like to be a part of their kids lives, but lack the financial resources to fight in court, and the women make it so hard, and use the kid against you, and then the system is against you too. It MAKES you want to give up. It's bullshit for real.
Keep you head up. Don't know your situation, but keep all your receipts and document everything. If nothing else, go for joint custody with no child support, 50/50 split.

I'm actually looking good. The state has found her to have neglected the child. Why I was not given custody right then shocked both me and my attorney.
