Zeitgeist Refuted
1 hr 30 min 42 sec - Dec 19, 2007

Even secular scholars have rejected the idea of Christianity borrowing from the ancient mysteries. The well-respected Sir Edward ... all » Evans-Pritchard writes in Theories of Primitive Religion that "The evidence for this theory… is negligible."

“The first real parallel of a dying and rising god does not appear until A.D. 150, more than a hundred years after the origin of Christianity. So if there was any influence of one on the other, it was the influence of the historical event of the New Testament [resurrection] on mythology, not the reverse. The only known account of a god surviving death that predates Christianity is the Egyptian cult god Osiris. In this myth, Osiris is cut into fourteen pieces, scattered around Egypt, then reassembled and brought back to life by the goddess Isis. However, Osiris does not actually come back to physical life but becomes a member of a shadowy underworld...This is far different than Jesus’ resurrection account where he was the gloriously risen Prince of life who was seen by others on earth before his ascension into heaven." --Dr. Norman Geisler

"Not one clear case of any alleged resurrection teaching appears in any pagan text before the late second century A.D., almost one hundred years after the New Testament was written." --Dr. Gary Habermas

This film refutes the following claims made in the film Zeitgeist: -Christianity was borrowed from pagan myths? -The Bible was plagiarized? -Jesus wasn't a historical figure? -Christianity was created for social control? -The Bible is based on astrology

Funny that every time I see a vid saying "ZEITGEIST IS GETTING OWNED," or "Zeitgeist Refuted!", they never really try to refute or own the parts about the N.W.O., or the whole "9/11 was an inside job" aspects of the movies.

They seem to always want to hurry up and defend their God. What the fuck should YOU care what I think of your God??? If YOUR God Has a problem with something I said about Him, then we'll settle up when we SEE each other. :hmm:

I have always said that Zeitgeist is mind food for the gravely ignorant. Too many pseudo scholars who have only googled researched and repeated information they have seen on some website would like zeitgeist.

using the bible to refute anything historical is not a refutation

I totally agree because when I argue with Christians, the first thing they say is you do not have faith or the devil is busy amd I do not even mention anything about religion!

The author or the documentary uses the bible and primary resources

something the author of zeitgeist never did, he just read 5 books and made that documentary. Anyone that knows about the ancient pagan mystery religions knows how there is no correlation with Yahushuah. The pagan religions influenced the romans not the scripture writers . This is why zeitgest is only popular with idiots , if you know nothing or haven't done research zeitgest will sound like some scholarly work. Too many people are too quick quote hearsay as fact.

You got poked with the Jesus stick, if you get to close to making sense they stick you with it.

Oh and props to the vid poster.

Thank you

You can't use a record which was written by man with shoddy historical record keeping at best in order to refute the arguments that it is not real

It is like trying to prove with empirical fact if any other miracle man exist.

These muthafuckas are stupid as shit.

Furthermore the gods and goddesses of ainceint Kemet symbolize many different things and it is important that u understand their meanings, and the underlying symbology and ideas before u jump and finalize your decisions.

Osiris is Cut up into fourteen pieces by Set. Isis then finds all the pieces EXCEPT the phallus (dick) and brings him back to life. Thus Osiris IS Rresurrected. Osiris and Isis then engages in a spiritually higher courtship which can be explained as something higher than our human sex. He empregnates and She later gives birth to Horus. Osiris later does leave the Physical plane into the Astral. SO DOES JESUS. Jesus dies, comes back to life, and obviously he is no longer in the physicl plane with us anymore. HOW HARD IS THIS TO UNDERSTAND? Horus IS born of a virgin birth, because his mother physically wasnt penetrated. JESUS IS BORN THE SAME WAY.

If youve heard of sumblimation, which is the evolution or change of exual energy to spiritual energy, this might make sense to u. Otherwise, ignore and listen to your Jews tell u how to live.

SOn dont ever waste my time and make me watch bullshit like that ever sagain. The dude did NOT prove anything regarding Jesus and Horus not being related. He says a lot of stupid shit such as Horus is a god with a man's body, but before was a bird. Then horus is seen as a baby sucklin on his virgin mom's breast. These are many variations of Horus. The then soes on to use BIBLICAL statements saying that Jesus is the same in the past future and present. this is 24:00 into the documentary. He does not touch on the virgin birth, nor when Horus was born, nor what Horus represents. He would not touch on what Horus stood for, Horus hood vs. Christ hood. This man is a pathetic piece of shit. And you can go ahead and watch the rest of this video. I dont agree with Zeitgeist 100% either. some of it is wrong, and additionally, It doesnt address what needs to be addressed. It states the similarities of religions, and I hope that it inspires people to do the research rather than suck on some dickhole's balls. I wont.

Like other's have said, most of its refutations are based on biblical mis-information. I dont indulge in the confusion of the Caucasoids.

Zeitgeist woke up the conscience of those that were for some reason or another were disgruntle with the fairy tales of religion. When you're fucking with the livelyhood of fake motherfuckers they'll do anything to save their way of life.
Can't anyone tell you anything you don't already know, they just validate it!
If you believe in the fairytales before there's no way a fucking movie can change your point of view if that's what you really believe right?

People that live in religion have to stay within the box of religion to make their life have meaning, living for anything but yourself is not permitted in religion. therefore you can blame your exsistance on something you've never seen.

I'm not trying to judge people that subscribe to religion, far be it for me to do that, but in kindness there are a great deal of people that's not caught up in this bullshit that would love to live there life without you so-called saved motherfuckers always telling of what God did for you, and that if we want to be saved accept Jesus.

Saved from what exactly?, motherfuckers like the one trying to sell this bullshit? I don't believe in parts any of this mindless rhetoric, but there are flocks of sheeps, and herds of cattle out there being led to the slaughter by words just words. FUCK THE DUMB SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THINK...............................It ain't illegal yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:angry::smh::hmm:

Half way through and one comment I have to say, far.
Trying to convince someone that your myth is the truth based on the fact that you have found flaws in other myth is sort of a round about way of doing things!
The bottom line is that when you deal with Myths there is sure to be more than one version of the Myth, remember they are not actual accounts of history!
Even with Jesus there are more than one version of the myth, by picking and choosing the version you feel is the most flawed in order to bolster your own beliefs is flawed!
They would be better served removing the mythology that has been attached to christianity and exposing the people who have distorted the truth by either editing the words or blatantly lying in order to promote their own agendas!
Hey let me look at the rest, perhaps I can find some useful information there!

Man this just shows that no matter how much evidence you show people of Yahushuah's existence they will never accept. I knew of the 45 authors that wrote about and the other mountain of evidence of his evidence right down to the Talmud. The problem is not the facts being shown its the fact that people will give credit to any matter that shows there is no higher power.

I have told people on here that they are writings that were plagiariized by the egyptians and babylonians of far older civilisations that have been convieniently suppressed . The gods you know in egypt and babylon were renditions of even far older stories. Even the babylonians and egyptians give credit to older manuscripts mathcing the book of enoch but contemporary athiest apologetics are twisting things to make it look like everything was borrowed from Egypt. They are over 365 books that predate egypt and babylon which were part of the scriptures that were suppressed .

the truth is hard to accept

Funny how they keep pointing out how most of the ancient myths have little mention of their saviors before A.D. 150 however what the producers of the film fail to mention is that most of what we know about the new testament, was compiled in the First Council of Nicaea during A.D. 325. And it is believed that Roman Emperor Constantine, a known Pagan priest, incorporated many of his Pagan mythology into the formation of a religion that was designed to best serve the Republic of Rome! Thus the true birth of Christianity!

Man this just shows that no matter how much evidence you show people of Yahushuah's existence they will never accept.

You can not "PROVE" that a higher power exists. It is COMPLETELY out of the realm of objective reality. That is why it is called mysticism. I've had this discussion a million and 2 times and don't wish to have it again. The sad reality for mystics is that the burden is on the claimer to prove their claim. The refuter does not have to prove "non-existence". And be VERY careful of what you consider "proof" and "evidence". I want you to look up the meaning of the word and pay very important attention to the semantics.

The new testament was not compiled in 325

It was compiled in 110 AD

The new testament was ORDERED AND CHANGED in 364 AD at the council of Laodicea by roman pagan bishops

If you want a primary resource its in Cannon 60 of the council of laodicea its widely documented

Never said when it was created.

you don't get it do you?

You know whats funny

The followers of Yahushuah were never called christians or neither did they call themselves christians. The roman emperor constantine called the council of nicea because of Arius and he protesting of christus who if you have done your research was serapis . If you are wondering about how the word christianity found itself into scriptures you have to thank Eusebius of caesara.

The followers were called NATSARIM or nazarenes not christian

Everything else you are right about christianity being a pagan religion

PASS on this. Everybody is always trying to refute something that goes against the white boy's way of doing things. Fuck him and fuck his "fake ass god".:D:rolleyes:

I agree with you, I never said that the man that we called Jesus, Yahushuah, never existed, I am trying to point out how the Romans used his name to create a religion based on their self served Pagan beliefs!
The true followers of Yahushuah followed the living word and belifs of Yahushuah rather than the myths that pledge many of today's Christians! This is the reason why the text of the Gnostic edited from the bible and deemed heretical by the Pagan Christan for fathers!
