NYE Resolutions. Got any?

 Thanks. And to those who say they CAN'T, you CAN!!!

Seriously, I am so pleased when I hear of smokers who quit. I know it's hard but one of the things that makes me sad is remembering how my mother would describe lung cancer patients. I guess my mother was vivid even though I was young and it always stuck with me but she would say time and time again how lung cancer literally devours the human body. Just that image alone caused me to detest smoking and I always tell people to stop even if they think I should mind my business.

I do hope you quit for good!

My main resolution and the hardest one to do, is to try to maintain contact with friends and family when things aren't going well for me. Alot of them had been hurt this past year and it's not fair to them at all.

yeah yeah i got the basic ones which are seriously cut down on my drinking and get my workout back on. but the REAL one I know what it is but I can't find the exact right words to express it just yet. I will get back to you tho.

I want to get a full-time job doing something in my major.. I thought I could tough it out doing something else, and I'm miserable at work...

Definitely get my love life in order... But to do that, you have to start with yourself....

That's pretty much it, i'm giving up on the standard, lose weight, save more money resolutions because those are habits I should live by...

To get my lower back in order, get off comp and go back to work....then quit and go foward with a new career

Travel more then I did this year....

Move out of NY.......again:hmm:

Cut down on posting on BGOL:rolleyes:

Have more faith in GOD

stop procrastinating and being on time for everything.

Handle my finances better then I did this year

call friends and family more...and return phone calls promptly.

Finally get my foundation for women and teenage girls off the ground

More alone time w/ hubby

Finally get my butterfly tattoos

TURN LADYSCORPIO OUT;)

Thats all I can think of now:D

Start university for a degree and to use the gym more consistently to lose weight and to gain muscle mass. Eat heathier and to avoid women with issues and not to take issues forward from previous relationships.

A few of resolutions from last year have been met for the most part.

I put on 10 pounds of muscle.
Developed a much better relationship with my daughter.
Made myself a more valuable asset to my company.

In 2008 my main goal is to become 100% reliant on myself for my income but still make myself even more valuable with the company that I work for.

Move my family and I to Atlanta.

Read the entire bible.

I only have 13 years to make the cover of fortune so I got to get to work.

I start my resolutions in December, usually. And it's rare that I resolve to do something totally different. Usually, it's just to take things to another level...higher. In 08, get a better handle on any distractions and minimize em. One day a week is ok to let loose. In 08, I'll stop sleepin around. I THINK I can finally let this one go. I never let drugs get me..I got the junk food under control, I don't gamble, but sex is something else. For so long, I was intent on sleeping with every woman I saw..that I was attracted to. I believe I have that outta my system, finally.

I can completely relate. Sometimes when you're going through your own issues its hard when friends and family call needing advice or an encouraging word about their own drama, but I am working on it and will work harder in the new year.
