WHEN ONE OF THEIR RAGGEDY ASS AIR TOOLS BREAKS THEY WANT AS MUCH TO FIX IT AS IT COST TO BUY A NEW ONE FROM THEM.
IN FACT I HAVE SOME OF THAT BROKE SHIT YOU CAN HAVE SINCE YOU LIKE IT SO MUCH

HOWEVER I LEARNED THAT IF YOU GO TO HARBOR FREIGHT
AND SPEND LESS THAN A THIRD OF WHAT THE SNAP ON MAN CHARGES
YOU CAN GET AN EQUALLY USEFUL AND QUALITY TOOL THAT WILL LAST THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME AND EVEN IF YOU ONLY GET A YEAR OR TWO OUT OF IT WITH CONSTANT USE YOU CAN GO BACK AND BUY ANOTHER AND STILL NOT BE CLOSE TO SPENDING THE MONEY SNAP ON CHARGES.

I have a bunch of tools (mostly woodworking) and will say most of Harbor Freight stuff is pure garbage. They do have plenty of diamonds in the ruff and the motorcyle lift is one of them. I buy quite few stuff from them but I would not purchase anything with a plug attached.

That electric impact wrench is a steal for $29. And you guys are right about snap on. There a rip off. Like someone said earlier, go to sears and buy Craftsman for your hand tools. Anything happens they will replace them on the spot.

I fucks with harbor & all but in the Sheetmetal/HVAC trade we put our tools to the test.. but little shit like drill bits & screwdrivers(which are the most abused tool in history) you can kinda stock up on. but ultimately it depends on if you ......... when welding heavy plate steel suspended 30ft in the air and trusting your vise grip not to slip or fly open and take a eye out I rather get the real. that harber shit is cool but it's like "chink" heaven in there.

Hey, if you're a Pro and depend on tools for life and income ... Harbor Freight is probably not right for you per se. Snap-On and their hyperinflated margins is cool ... I guess.

But for the weekender / tinkerer / hobbyist, you're not going to beat these prices.
