I'm from New Orleans, as well...moved to NYC for grad school in 2004 (pre-Katrina)...moved in August to Charlotte...EH, Charlotte is starting to grow on me, but never back to New Orleans! Even before Katrina, there was no real "thinkers" in the city...at least, that's how I felt...

Lol...that's the same expression I have about Charlotte.....EH. The city is growing and I know quite a few people who haved moved there, but to me there's not much night life or alot of things to do for a single person. That's the reason I was hesitant on moving there. If you are married and/or have kids, it's cool. Whenever I goto Charlotte I stay for a day or two, then it's off to Atlanta....
