A question for the ladies....Why do some older women prefer younger men?

I have a question to ask you ladies, in your opinion, why do some older women prefer younger men? Is it because of a mid-life crisis they are going through, men in their age group aren't "fun and exciting" as younger men, or to have control of the relationship (the mother/child relationship where they can take control and tell the younger man what to do, how to live etc.).

Just thought I ask.
 
I don't prefer em. I prefer men right around my age.

But I must say that a young buck will give you one hell of a ride.

They try harder and they aim to please.

I'd argue that women tend to date OLDER men.

Most men in the 30-34 range seem to want women between 25-30. I'm more attracted to women between 29-35, closer to my own age. However, most women at THAT age range want men around 40+, and the brothers are going for the younger & hotter club girls. The maturity disparity is a mystery to me...
 
I don't prefer a younger man. But if he has his shit together...I'm not going to discriminate. :yes:
 
Younger men tend to have a lot of energy and sometimes less baggage- i.e. less baby momma's, crazy ex wives, and general bitterness from x number of decades dating emotionally unbalanced women. They also tend to be in better condition physically in my experience- some not all.

I don't have a preference, but I do like a man that looks "youthful" and has some vigor about him. I prefer someone right around my age or younger, but I'm not into dating, older, "fatherly" types. I just can't get with that.

Downfall, young men are not ready! They are fun but they tend to have a lot of growing up to do and that's as it should be. They should take their time and enjoy their young lives and options.
 
I like women around the "4 year satellite". Whatever my age, I'd prefer them to orbit somewhere around 4 years above or below that age. The messed up thing is that I tend to attract REALLY young women looking for 'guidance' (23-25), or if I post my online social resume, I'll get WAAAAY older women trying to rope me in (40+). Mature women my age or a little younger (33) tend to go much older. Maybe not octogenarian, but definitely older ;)

That kicks rocks. :angry:

Girl that is true. For some reason after 35, alot of brothas slack on their looks. The receding hairling, the beer belly and the worst thing is that saggy ass! :puke: Even when they go to the gym they seem to only focus on upper body. :smh:

Plus a lot of them don't take care of their skin and teeth. If you were 300 lbs I wouldn't care but take care of your skin and teeth. I can't stand that gray undertone in a black man's skin.:hmm:

Isn't that interesting, Femme? Black men start out in my eyes as having far better bodies than any other ethnic group of men- natural muscle tone and smoother,prettier skin and teeth. :dunno:

Better yes. But they still let themselves go. The skin, the skin. I just can't say enough about that.

Alot of them don't think they need to see a dermatologist or buy skin products because they associate it with being gay. They just let whatever is going on with their bodies continue. It is one of my biggest gripes about brothas.

And I have seen even skinny brothas with saggy behinds. It makes me want to hurl.
 
Younger man pros are they definitely go all out to please and impress an older woman and show and prove they are a "big man" :lol:

Younger man cons are they can tend to lack maturity and experience and also sometimes are looking for a mommy figure in an older woman. I am not always in the mood to teach. Sometimes I just want my world rocked.

Yeah I think there is a stigma agianst black men using "beauty" products lol- I think if you eat right and exercise you shouldn't need a whole lot more. I notice a lot of men that drink excessively tend to have puffiness and that grayish undertone you mentioned. Hmmm.

Co sign! I had a younger lover for the first time in my life last year. He was 23 i was 34. Great guy but the age difference did bother me, we still talk though.

I'm very health conscious..
I can't afford to take any chances since cancer now runs in my family.

After 28 years of age, everything for males begin to go downhill.
Therefore, it becomes even more important to take care of your physical health.

Now that I am 35, I like men in their late 20's..that is if I absolutely had to go younger.

But these 20 and 21 year olds won't leave me alone! I can't relate to them.

My Fuck preference is 18-36
My Mentally brain wash presence is 18-22
My dating preference is 22-34

My ideal range is 26-30

One thing I hate now, most these women expect me to have 4-5 kids, yet I have none

I don't agree with this, AT ALL. I don't like to speak in generalities, so I'll just say in MY experience, it's just the opposite. I date a fair amount...ok alot of women in their 30's...40's and I can count on one hand the women who I dated, over the last year, who are really in good shape. I'm starting to see a few more, who are serious about not just maintaining their looks, but into improving themselves. But by the time a woman hits 35, gravity is working against them...tits sag, ass drops, pouch, stretch marks... Do some brothas slack off after 35? Yep. But trust me, there's a helluva lotta females that are doin the same. Me personally...I'm fightin it like a mofo
 
To me, its not a matter of preference, I tend to let things flow, see where it leads. If I like someone, age isnt a factor, standards and sincerety matter. Maturity and common interests, goes a long way...

I guess it's true for both sides.

I am fighting it too. But damn if I see another 35 year old man walking around with gray hair and gray skin. :puke:

We don't talk about the same things.

And then there is the always asking advice thing. Which is fine but sometimes I want to be around a man who knows already. He's lived, he's seasoned, he's worldy. Unless you were a military baby or the child of a missionary, only age brings that about.
