If you're a couple, should it be 2x a week, 4x a week, daily?

And are the scales different if you're single?

I've never liked to have sex daily. But 4x a week is fine with me. Every other day. Of course there will be times where we may go a whole week depending on schedules and mitigating circumstances, but that IMO can make things even more exciting.:D
 
I never seemed to think there was a certain amount of sex that should be going on. I mean to say, we should be doing it but a number of time a weeks is not justifying.

Just my opinion. I agree that sometime you could do it everyday. then other times it could only be once or twice a week. As long as when you do it, it's not weak, then all is well.
 
i used to be cool with multiple times a week wit my current beau but now thats too much lol... at least to me. we dont have time for that and i dont think it should be something that is scheduled when your in a relationship. it used to make me feel like a booty call lol... now it just happens when it happens

I C/s this . Having a healthy sex life for me is really about maintaining your connection and chemistry. I have a high sex drive. I do enjoy sex daily, but life gets busy and people are not tireless machines. I can be satisfied with actual intercourse 3X a week (as long as its good) but I like to have some kind of sensual connection everyday. I'm a touchy feely person. A hand job, oral, a good back rub, or just talk dirty to me while I get myself off if he's real tired. All that makes me :)...but at least F, Sat, Sunday we should be fucking.


Edit: I do think it's different if your single. I HAD to be satisfied with less because I wasn't going to fuck some random dude every time I was horny.

Following along this train of thought, there is no set total. It might be 4 or 5 times in a week, it might be 4 times in one day.:yes: Might not happen for 2 weeks.:( It really depends on the couple. Even you've said the more sex you have the more you want so that should tell you something.

I think this is the best answer.

Personally, I feel like sex EVERYDAY takes away from some of the passion behind it so if I have to select a number I'd say approximately 4 sessions the number of times you go in a session is unlimited.
 
Currently, I'm about 3-4x a week...maybe a couple jack sessions, here and there. But for awhile, it was more like once a week. It seems the more I get in shape, the higher my sex drive.

Anyway, healthy is about 4x-5x a week, but I'm liable to do it much more if the mood strikes. You have to account for those days when you have that morning sex...the after work sex, and nightime sex. And what about those occasions where you just don't get out of bed :confused: How do we count that?

Dunno, sometimes when those life responsibilities start taking center stage, you HAVE to schedule it to maintain the health of your relationship.

I've seen that demand for spontaneity result in people not fuckin for weeks or months, and then the couple starts having major problems and might even split up.

All because people were hard-headed about planning their lovin'. :smh:

Most sex is spontaneous, but scheduling sex is a good idea because you are providing time with one another to build intimacy.

For instance, I have sex with my lady all the time, but these amount to quick sessions. They are in the morning, after work, while cooking dinner and night. It doesn't last long at all because it is spontaneous, and we don't have the time to have serious lovemaking sessions on a daily basis. It's like hey... She is making dinner or I am doing something. We get off real quick, wash up then go back to doing what we were doing.

We do scheduled a monthly lovemaking session where we are just by ourselves. There are no interferences and whatever else. It is more rewarding because this is where we build the serious intimacy that is needed to have a fulfilling relationship.

I would be happy with just 3 or 4 times a week. When my ex fiance and I were living together, I could have done it every day if I could get it, but we have a young son. (he just turned one) The baby never slept through the night and we both had to get up early and I found myself making sure I wore something sexy to bed and that I smelled sweet and felt soft...but by the time I got out of the shower that fool was on the couch passed out. By the time he got to bed, I was out for the count. I started getting an attitude about it, but eventually things got back to normal.

Now that I am single again, I only see my GD (good dick) every other weekend. (I alternate my two kids with daddy every other weekend) But with in that 48 hour time frame we get it between 4 and 8 times. I love sex! If I could get it twice a day every other day I'd be in heaven. But I think 3 to 4 times a week is more realistic. Especially when you have children and careers.

Everybody's sex drive is different, so all that matters is that both people are satisfied - meaning neither person is frustrated from the lack or overwhelmed by the abundance.
 
I only feel like I need to have sex 2-3 times a week. But I am willing to have sex every day if need be. It all depends on who I am with.​
 
It depends.. I'd love to have some good quality sex 3-4 times a week... But if it starts to feel routine... that wouldn't be good... that sucks just to do it to do it...

But if its some rough crazy sex, and he beat it up... I need a day or two in between to let her recuperate!

I’m doing everything I can to get wealthy just so I can do as I please… Like going to a warm place, getting naked and doing what feels good all day and wake up, have a bit to eat and drink and continue for as long as I please…

Ideally, but some people can't relax if they are stressed or anxious about work, school, family, etc.

Some people can't get horny if they're tired as fuck from working 12 hours.

It really does depend on schedule as much as desire for each other.
