When is it fly for a career 3rd string QB to throw 3 int's and lose a game.

Today on Philly sports radio, they are killing McNabb and saying that they would he happy if they never saw McNabb again.

Can we level the playing field and call it what it is. I can't think of a black QB that threw 3 pics, lost the game and made the fans wish that a white franchise QB leave town.

I did see the same game that errbody else saw right? He did throw 3 pics and then lose right?

When the starting quarterback is an intelligent black man who the team's fans did not want in the first place :smh:

when the starting quarterback can't play a full season, blames everybody else but himself..

These r the same people mad at the Patriots for dominating their opponents. Isnt DOMINATION what makes Football Football?

When the starting QB has given the city in question no future hopes and washed away, whether his fault or not, every chance given to him...

McNabb said it weeks ago, he has to do more because he's a black QB. Just like Vince

But they could of won with McNabb last night. The defense played really good, thats what kept them in the game, cause they cant go TD for TD with the patriots. They were laying hits on Brady and Moss, No other team was puttin brady on his ass like that. Feely did play well but he made to many mistakes, and he had damn near perfect protection. McNabb would have picked that secondary apart.

Feely did his job last night which was manage the game, but when it was time to make a big play he threw a pick.

thanks for those that answer the question.

I ain't sticking up for Mcnabb.

I'm talking bout praising a loser when millions of QB's can throw 3 pics and lose.

But white QB's get the benefit of the doubt when most blacks don't.

Try reading the question first.

Philly are just some heartless fans anyways. I'm sorry but race ain't got shit to do with this. They loved McNabb there for years. He's been fucking up and they want somebody else. Period. If McNabb was white you'd have the same results. I remember when crackas in Philly thought McNabb was jesus. Yall must not be from the area because you'd know that them mothafuckas will boo their own moms.

I'll answer it:

When the backup throws 3TD's and damn near pulls off the biggest regular season upset in NFL history. When backup QB leads a team to 4TD's and for most of the game showed Super Bowl type poise against a team alot of people are hailing as the best ever..

And on top of that, the starter has the team underachieving on the year.

. just to refershen your memory, they were playing the patriots. . I think mcnabb don't trust/like his receivers or he just can't throw the ball unless the COACHES HATE HIM THAT MUCH AND NEVER CALL THOSE PLAYS FOR HIM. garcia made the offense look good the same can be said for aj feely. Damn, mcnabb had T.O and westbrook/and a VERY GOOD DEFENSE and still couldnt win the superbowl. i mean how many chances can one get ???

When the starting quarterback is an intelligent black man who the team's fans did not want in the first place :smh:

damn summarized it in one sentence......i remember watching that draft, and they booed the shit out of mcnabb....they just need to trade him....shit...the dolphins or somebody would take em..

And to everybody saying that race is not an issue, i think that is really a crazy statement. I give you an example: Brett Favre; besides this year when is the last time the Packers were actually competing? Yet every year the Packers take his old ass back and talk as if he's the best thing since since sliced bread. Donovan McNabb was just recently in the Super Bowl. Not to mention progressing in the playoffs every year before that. This is the year after he suffered a season ending injury, he doesnt deserve a chance to regain his shit? The simple truth no matter how much it hurts is that we run just about every position in football and they just cant except that we are coming up in another.

I'll be back with more cause i'm busy right now, those not blinded by bullshit feel free to add more.

Peace,

I hate the Favre worship as much as anyone but Green Bay ain't Philly.

I believe that race is a small component. This is the NFL. The owners spend millions on a franchise to bring in top notch players to win now; not 3 years down the road. Philly and Boston have sports fans that expect to win every year and when the team loses, it more often than none falls on the QB.

Do you think race played a factor when Grossman got benched after taking his team to the SB? Or when Bradd Johnson and Trent Dilfer were traded after leading their teams to a SB victory?

McNabb is just worn out. The price you pay when you are a scrambling back in the league.

So, does he deserve more respect? Yes. Do I believe some of it is racially motivated? Yes. But that is a small percentage of it.

I am from Philly and they been killing him since day 1. I hear them on WIP all the time.

2nd of all the team is full of 3rd class talent and the only reason why the game was close was the defense and Andy called a good game up until that "slant and go" that got picked.

3rd of all, almost pulling something off ain't good enough.

If thats the case then Buffalo almost pulled if a super bowl. Get the fuck outta here.

Brett Farve has thrown 6 pics in a game, ain't nobody running him outta town.

When the fuck do we give out awards for almost doing shit.

I can respect that. But all of the qbs above are and were flukes and were exposed as such especially Grossman. Donovan McNabb has done nothing but prove he can win. Its not like he has sucked his whole career. I hate Donovan McNabb in a sports sense because he destroyed my team in the playoffs a few years back but i can see that the blame shouldn't be absolutely placed on him. No way am i saying that its 100 percent racial cause if that was the case he wouldn't have been there in the first place but its a lot more than a small percent.

Are you on crack?? Feeley, nothing more than a scrub, had an amazing game last night. Why would you knock it???

I give you an example: Brett Favre; besides this year when is the last time the Packers were actually competing? Yet every year the Packers take his old ass back and talk as if he's the best thing since since sliced bread.

Huh? Favre is an all-time great (3-time MVP), who's having a career year at age 38. Why would you knock him?

sorry blunt, not on crack but you can't give an award for almost doing something.

If somebody on the board said that they almost fuck the baddest chick, errbody would call that ninja a loser. LOL

Same difference

Favre didn't cry like a bitch when they drafted Aaron Rodgers.

In the superbowl, is not winning the superbowl.

Progressing?? Making it to the nfc championship game and losing 3 years in a row is progressing?

A season ending injury? In 9 seasons he's only played 3 of em in their entirety.

McBumm is overrated, but Feely aint the savior neither.

Who cares what he HAS done in the PAST. All that talk of his accomplishments is now only good for his introduction for his hall of fame induction speech. If you are making the "what have you done for me lately" argument for mcnabb i feel the same should apply for favre, mvps or not. with the exception of the current year, mcnabb has had much more recent success than favre with his mvps (last was in 1997 by the way) and super bowl ring (1996)

Another example: Michael Vick;

Just fuckin wit ya, I'm smart enough not to go there

At the end of the day he's not delivering.. just admit it, as much faith as they've put on him, he's an under achiever simply for the fact that they've let good players go just to accomodate him. it's not a racial issue but a Xcter issue..and Philly fans will let you know that..

I'm exhausted on this never-ending topic so i'm going to make my exit statement and maybe more will agree with this. All bullshit aside, in sports the only thing that matters is winning. So if you're doing horrible, somebody comes in a gives even a grain of hope, your ass is basically grass. I don't give a fuck who you are. I'm out.

Farce did act like bitch when they drafted Rodgers and told the organization, Hell no I ain't helping train this dude and I ain't taking him under my wing.

and you're right. them crazy fucks boo-ed santa claus, and they cheer when someone on the opposing team gets hurt. :smh:

do you remember that courthouse in the old stadium? mufuckas would get into soooo many fights during the games, they'd have a judge on-site to hand out fines and jail time for "moving the crowd."

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

philly is a fucking mess... sports-wise and otherwise.

yeah that's some BS.

McNabb just needs to sit out the rest of the year, get better, and go to Chicago next year.

your no savior with three ints that resulted in a loss...period

the media is ridiculous

Favre didn't cry like a bitch when they drafted Aaron Rodgers.

you dont know what youre talking about bruh

Favre refused to talk to the kid for a year and didnt want to give him any sort of advice

IMO, thats worse
