ok ladies... which one is more important to YOU as a female:

1. bringing a child into this world, or...
2. marriage?

i KNOW half of y'all are hung-up on all those "fairy" tales, and i know a lot of y'all are STILL waiting on prince charming, but at 30 plus years old, which one of these has become more important?

just asking...

Interesting topic husband of mine :D.

At my age I am not hung up on either. To bring a child into the world is as big a step as marriage and none are to be taken lightly.

Easy question! I really would like to settle into a bonded relationship that nourishes me on all levels.

I have no children, and I have no strong desire to have my own. I have always wanted to (and absolutely plan to) adopt. I love babies and kids in general (well young kids not teenagers) so its not like I'm lacking that maternal instinct but I just have no attachment to having to give birth to my own to love. I have friends that have adopted and their kids are the loves of their lives. If I can have one before the clock stops, what a blessing but if not not a big deal.

Good answer. Though man was created to be fruitful and multiply, the mechanism in which this is to be done is marriage. Therefore they are of equal importance and one should mean both.

:hmm: you know this persona is rather boring. let me put it to you. I DO NOT beLIEve in any of your BS. Yahweh...:smh:

Stop freaking co signing my stuff. You and I are not on the same level :smh::hmm:

Such arrogance. The Lord shall never co-sign the statements of any human being-- "Co-" is for the codependent but the Lord is omnipotent. The sheep can never be on the level of the shepherd. This is self-evident and need not be pointed out.

Girl, I know. And yet his other persona on the board is so different. I wish there was a banning policy for these multiple aliases for users with multiple personalities.:smh:

personally, i thought women would say, "bringing a child into this world is MORE important."

i guess i underestimated the POWER of MARRIAGE on the female mind, again.

but lady... when you're ready, let me know. i've got the wedding ring NOW, and i can guarantee you'll be at least 3-4 months pregnant the morning after our wedding night.

big earl... dudes can't marry dudes yet, and technology won't allow for a dude to get pregnant so chill, ok?

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

I think that the problem is that people assume that females automatically have that fairy tale dream of the perfect hubby and the few kids and the white picket fence. Most or should I say some of the females I am acquainted with are just living. That is not to say that they don't want these things they do not make it a wake up and eat part of the life.

3-4months  what a night

While I recognize that you may be joking Max Bigirl is a female, that type of bashing is for the main board. Thanks. :)

I love my boyfriend and I hope to marry him soon, but bringing a child into this world could never be topped by anything else.

HHMMM.. after lots of consideration, I'm going to have to say marriage. Kids are great and I love them, I have enough little cousins for a baseball team, but there is something to be said about lifelong companionship. Someone to grow old with. Someone who knows you completely and you know them. I hope to have kids one day, but I hope marriage precedes that.

At the age of 26, I'm not hung up on either. But I do not foresee myself having a child before I'm married. If time goes on, and I figure that marriage is not going to happen for me, I would possibly adopt a child.

I can not lie, when I was younger I dreamed of the whole fairy tale wedding thing. It didnt matter, I just wanted to get married to have the wedding. I am so glad I waited and matured before jumping the broom. I have to say having a child would be more important. Because now that I have 3, I cant see life without them.

if she's a female, WTF i say has no value... no meaning. relax.

don't take yourselves sooooooo seriously over here ladies... relax that weave and breathe.

REVEAL. YOU'RE ALLOWED TO DO THAT.

Tread lightly for you get DA BOOT.

 do i look worried? :hmm:

thanks for the input. i think a LOT of parents FUCK UP by teaching their daughters this bullshit. if i'm blessed with a daughter one day, i'll raise her to believe:

1. get your education, first & foremost-above all.
2. get to know yourself as a young lady and make your way to be an independent, reliable, self-sufficient person BEFORE bringing a man into your life... he's there to finish the picture-not START the picture.
3. bring a life into this world within a loving relationship-not because of peer pressure, your biological clock, or because you feel you have to do so to be "Accepted" in society.

what did i do to you? :hmm: :smh:

nothing. relax and have a laugh. damn. why y'all soooooo fucking uptight over here.

He has issues.

you don't know me. so chill with the e-psycho analysis. and don't quit your day job.

i think bringin a child into the world is more important because you are now responsible for a life besides your own

i love to laugh at things that are in fact funny :hmm:

biggirl, from your comments on here... esp. the ones about having kids, etc. makes me think you've NEVER smiled in your fucking life.

never.

you have an attitude about kids, you have an attitude about living in the usa (babylon), you have an attitude about a lot of shit.

but being in america is where most want to be.
and bringing a life into this world is a blessing bestowed on women from above.

yet, you find negativity in ALL that shit.

smile. and get over yourself. fuck.

According to my sources, I wouldn't go there if I were you; the precedent has been set.

I smile every day. I do not live in amerikkka and no it is not where most want to be and no not everyone has to have kids. You need to get over yourself and stop trying to impose your belief system upon others. Oh yeah what a great time to bring a child in the world just when all the NWO shit about to hit the fan  and amerikkka fucking sucks its the worst place i have ever been. I am much happier when I am not here. Yeah its easy for you to talk about kids when all you are is a lowly squirter. You don't have to be pregnant for 9 months and get your shit all stretched and cut and you don't gotta be stuck int he house with a screaming brat while the father is out in the street fucking hoes.

hell, seems to me that you need to relax as well.

what's all this "ban" talk? can't a nicca say ANYTHING without y'all screaming "ban?"

what about all the fucking years you lurking females leeched off the main boards for music, software, etc., and didn't contribute jack shit? femme and a few other ladies were the only ones contributing over there. if it wasn't for those few ladies there would have been NO FEMALE REPRESENTATION on the main board.

now, you have your own shit and you wanna scream "ban" all the fucking time?

as i said earlier, "get over yourself. it ain't THAT DAMN SERIOUS."

you're online... not in a psyche ward. damn.

ok, after those comments, i'm done.

so are you here in america or there -----> over there?

your issues with kids, america, and men in-general are a bit much for me.

i wonder if you'll be banned on here for talking that negatively about males? hhmmm.

you were born female for a reason. there's no reason to criticize men for being men and no need to scream about the WONDERS AND BEAUTY of pregnancy. but that's too positive for you. you have the equipment to do the job... there's nothing NEGATIVE about it.

and i'm NOT trying to put my beliefs on you... just voicing my opinions-that's all.

on another note: if men could get pussy in a can and create life on our own...

EXCUSE ME???!!!

bigirl... relax.

i was talking to the cat that was talking to me.

you, femme, onyx, ladyscorpio, etc. are all contributors on the other board-esp. your music thread.

again, it wasn't directed at you. we've gone at it before, but you contributing is NOT an issue. i respect that about you.

hell, i actually ADMIRE how you held your own on the other board.

i will not sit here and listen to all this slander about the country that i love. who are u to judge america? hundreds die just to try and come here, what other country can say that? have u even been to america? if not then dont talk about my country.
