Any of y'all ever engaged in an "emotional" affair?

Yep, because you and I know it doesnt stop there. Once you get in a chick mind, her body aint too far behind.
An emotional affair can hurt your girl just as much as a physical one.. So yes, its cheating..

...is that like you all do everything but actually engage in physical relations...sounds like something that goes on between adults everyday...I don't think that should be considered cheating though...Dude if some other guy has your girl emotionally you might as well hang it up.
Its a done deal.. Because no matter if you catch them and give them another chance, that dude will for ever be on their mind.
I've only ever conducted emotional type relationships via the internet with chat or pictures or by telephone(phone sex too). I have yet to cheat, physically on any man. Thing that pops into my mind is, why doesn't he answer my calls, where is he at the precious moments, when I want him???

as far as cheating goes...anything you wouldn't tell your significant other about is considered cheating (which is why I keep the truth in my lies)
So if you find yourself sneaking out of bed in the middle of the night to see if your crush is on, or if you're quickly turning the computer off or closing the window when your s/o comes around then your ass is up to no good. lol
some emotional affairs can remain just that until the emotions dissipate depending on the maturity level of both parties, knowing that it doesn't have the potential of going so far and the consequences of investing too much feelings.
I entertain the idea my husband has had and/or will have a few emotional affairs. No way in hell am I naive to the extent of believing I'm the only one he'll ever love and lust after. He's an attractive man, and has some good characteristics I don't doubt another woman wouldn't be able to see that herself. It's my job to reel his ass back in if I ever feel his attention is diverted as it is his to do the same.

This is a true statement which I've verified time and time again. I never understood how other guys didn't know this information. We are so eagerly trying to lay with women that we forget that for them it starts in the mind. If you stimulate her mind and stir up her emotions, her body will be right there. You see it to a degree here on SOL.
