Hey, ladies. This forum is in direct response to many of the male posters on BGOL who claim that women who post on BGOL are attention grabbing whores (lol). I'm interested in hearing why other women joined BGOL, and what it is about the website that entices you.

For me, I love the honesty behind MOST of the posters on there...even if it is harsh and blunt at times, it's real and it gives me an insight to what men are thinking and don't tell women (lol).

I've been looking at porn since I was in high school, so, yes, the porn jumps out at me as a large reason I'm here too...that, and the music drops :lol:

So, ladies:
1. Why did you join BGOL/what led you to BGOL?
2. What entices you about BGOL and keeps you staying around?
 
Extra question. why'd you all stay in lurker mode? I can already guess most of the reasons, but I want in depth answers. Males can answer too.
 
i like the realness of the mens thoughts but better yet i like the fact that the women on here stand there ground. they stand behind there beliefs and offer good advice to the dudes as well as the women. i like the fact that now there is a sister forum so we can talk about things other than porn for once. the topics being discussed now is one of the many great ones to come.
 
I stayed in lurker mode primarily because I thought some guys were going to pressure me to post the confirmation pics! Eventually, I did, but, as a younger woman, I most certainly wasn't "strong" enough to handle some of the attacks men use against women...even now it's crazy how some guys will come after women all because of the anonymity of the internet...

What brought me here initially was the music thread. Every time I did a search for a particular cd, the music thread would show up in my google search, so I finally said "what the hell, may as well join" and that's what I did.

I stayed because the guys keep me in tears, plus I love dropping the underground gems in the music thread.

Nah, I think some nigga be extra thirsty. Then no one really "unattractive" has posted pics...well, there is one or two or a few. I really think it has to do with the attitude the female has about the pics.

But I'm kinda over the whole pic shit for now, you'll just be a dude.

2. The free music, software, etc. is what keeps me here, as well as some of the threads. You guys can be very entertaining & informative, which is cool to me.

As far as that extra question Iron asked, once I joined I jumped right in.

I had another screen name before this 700+ post deep. I got tired of posting under that one. I didn't lurk long. Two months.
It's too easy to make a mistake and then be attacked on this forum.

I've always wonder about why people lurk for so long. Is it because they can't hold there own in an electronic argument or is it becuse they don't feel that they have any thing to contribute or, if they aren't funny enough. Is it really that hard to post a thank you if you download something from a thread or read a interesting news article. Are people too lazy to read. i.e. the hidden link threads that dumb people keep replying to.

out of the 3,000 plus members i think that maybe 500-600 actually post frequently what makes the main posters different from the lurkers?
 
Good Music, good reads... good porn if I'm ever in the mood for it...

I don't post much because I'm busy and a little lazy. I'll read the replies to a thread and sometimes what I would have said has been said or I just don't have a reply...
 
I love porn (I thought way too much to be a female), I love the female body...I Love music, and I like shit talking as much as the next person so here I am.
Someone put me onto this board, well a few people did, and I dug it, it just took me a while to register.
 
Initially came on to be nosey...:smh:but I found a lot of the posts interesting and I like hearing a man's point of view whether I agree or not. I like porn too. Now, I'm addicted! :dance:
 
Well, to answer the question, I came on the board originally to promote myself.

After the board tried to run me off, I was disgusted by their hypocracy and made it my mission to defend myself and other women.

7 years later, I am still here.

So, I've been lurking for about 1 year now. But I guess it's finally time to come out (no homo, :rolleyes:).

Initially, my guy was telling me about this black porn site called BGOL where "you will become fully engaged on a plethora of topics...." I was like, "Excuse me?? Are you serious?" He was like, "This shit is so addictive...blah blah, blah... many of the members, although perverts, are intelligent, blah, blah, blah...the topics are interesting, blah, blah, blah...and the best part is that you can get a bunch of music and movies for free!!" Blah blah blah.:rolleyes:

Immediately, I was sold on the freebie part. :cool: And once I logged on and figured out how to navigate my way around, I was hooked. The comedy is second to none and I am intrigued on how simple, yet complex men really are. :smh::confused::smh: I've even told a few girlfriends about it.

A friend reccomended this board to me and told me about the music, the software and the intelligent conscious threads. Thats what brought me here and what keeps me here but i have also discovered the comedy factor which is a huge bonus too. Porn is barely a part of the equation at all for me. I am only in the mood once in a very rare while.

I ALWAYS LAUGH AT SOME OF THE COMMENTS CATS MAKE WHEN YALL POST YA PICS. "OH SHE THIS ,OH SHE GOT THAT" EVEN WHEN THERE ARE POST OF MODELS CATS FIND THE SLIGHTEST FAULT AND WANNA TALK SHIT. I LAUGH BECAUSE 90% OF THE CATS ON THIS BOARD WOULD "NUTT" ON THEMSELVES IF ANY OF YALL SAID HELLO TO THEM IN REAL LIFE.
 
I came here to get free porn and shoot the breeze. And then a lot of the men started attacking me for no reason. And then I saw all of the sexist and childish posts and fell back a little bit, downloading porn and only posting in political like threads. But then I came back :)
