Carmona better? Carmona was probably the worst pitcher in the AL last year. Sabathia has been consistent for years.
Carmona did have a great season this year though. Hopefully he doesnt regress because he makes a great 2nd starter in the Indians rotation.
Now, all they need to do is get rid of Borowski.
Carmona was a ROOKIE last year. Not only that, he was basically
cast into the fire as the short reliever when everybody else was
fucking up the job for Cleveland. High pressure job for a rook...
He did well for a minute, ran into trouble, then got sent down by
the manager....not really his fault. But he never got another chance
even tho he was never a reliever before
They weren't even going to give him a shot this year, but they had
2 starters go down in April so they basically used him by default. He
never gave Westbrook or Lee a chance to get their jobs back. Same
way Ryan Howard just TOOk Jim Thome's job
Carmona pitched so well, they went all the way to the playoffs. And
I won the fantasy baseball league with him as my ace
There were about 4 quality starts he had were he did not get the
win and another 2 or 3 were he got the loss. If he gets any kind of run
support in those games, he would won 20 and could've been carrying
that award home instead of CC
