My thing is, he's saying he was just saying the abbreviated, "nigga", like how most black people say to each other, and sometimes even to other whites. Ok fine, he even says, he doesnt mean it to mean the souless person most american relate the word ****** to.

But why does his last use of using the word when talking about his baby girl, he says, "if Lisa was to bring home A ******", is where his theory goes out the window, he was using it in a derogatory manner there, there is no doubt. If he had said "if Lisa was to bring home a black person, in that one line I don't think he should deserve all this heat. I know there are plenty of white people that use the word around black people that they are comfortable with, I'm not saying its right, but its more socially accepted.

Thats the first time I heard the tape of Dog's phone call. I was laughing my ass off. Here he is explaining how he doesnt want the fact he uses the N-word released to the press so everything he has worked for gets stripped from him.

Whats funny is that very tape of him explaining this is the tape that gets to the press. Its so ironic. Anyway, still thats kind of cold that his son made the tape and only got 15k for it.

In the tape he clearly says "/\/igger" not "Nigga"so he was definitely using the derogatory term. But even still its gonna be easy for whites to defend him because he said what he said in the privacy of his own home and his private conversation was taped(which could be illegal), Where as Imus used the public airwaves to use his derogatory words.

But i still say fuck him, i fuckin hate self-righteous bounty hunters with a passion. And ive never watched his show anyway.

I think you missed the point, i was commenting on what the dude above said. He says Dog kept saying he was only using the word nigga(the way black people do) but in the tape he clearly uses the word /\/igger, this shoots down the argument that dog was using the N word in the same way black people use it with each other, since black people don't call each other the word "/\/igger".
But of course we shouldn't use either word.
 
Well maybe Dog need to reconstruct his show seeing this is now part of his life now. This won't help none but it would look better in the eyes of the African American black communities.
