I don't want Collin to appear in this thread so I'll summarize. Basically NBC bought The Oxygen Network which is owned by Oprah for 925 million!!! :eek:

Although 925 mil is a LOT of money, I really don't think you people understand the POWER of OWNING a network. When we as a people learn that, we will be a lot better off. NBC understands that, that's why they purchased it. When we begin to understand that, we will be the ones BUYING networks.

Yeah, folks take shit and run with it. I'm happy for her but it's like when CocaCola bought VitaminWater and everyone said Curtis was getting $400 mil CASH off the deal. I'm sure he's getting something off of it but not $400 mil. VitaminWater (or Coke) dont give a fuck about the inaccurate reports because it's bringing more people to the brand even if they dont give a shit about Curtis and his fuckery.

Bur props to Oprah (and her partners) for selling out before the network isnt worth shit anymore.

This is crazy, what would NBC want with "The Oxygen Network." They can't run NBC worth a damn.

Can't say anything bad about Oprah with this deal. 925 million for a station only a few watch. Not bad.:lol:
