Looking to get into some jazz....I know there's a thread somewhere around here with a bunch of jazz albums, but I'm looking for some recommendations on which artist I should start with. Help me out fellas.

True, but it looks like he just didnt wanna sift through all the Traditional/Straight Ahead Jazz stuff just to find some Smooth Jazz..everybody doesnt know who's a Smooth Jazz artist and who's not..cant really tell by looking at a album cover
