Alright, I'm probably the millionth cat to come on here and say I want to start an adult site.

I'm familiar with the majority of start up costs (digital cameras, lighting, etc).

What I need help with is the average pay for the girls. I've got some local chicks that are willing to model for me but I'm not sure what to pay them. I'm not asking them because most women are going to charge way more than their worth. I just needed some advice from someone who has a site an average of what they pay their girls. I'm sure the price goes up for the more they do but I need a starting point.

Really depends. Id say no more than $300 for a amature . Most Porn Girls i talk to start anywhere from $600-$1200. Id say don't fuck with Professional Porn girls when you first start. Try to get as many cute fresh faces as you can. then you can mix it up.

To have a successful porn site all you need is Fresh Faces>Update frequently> and you will see lots of dollars.

do all your content shooting FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR in 1 month. shoot all the content you can store, and then slowly release it over the next 11 months.

If you have a female that can help you research the market, look in your local alternative paper or craigslist and find the ads looking for models. Have the female contact them and get as far as possible to get as much info as possible on that market. But in general, I'd go low.

Learning about to launch my paysites thru CC Bill. Im sittin on 5 years worth of content for DXM. I'm a little nervous yes but ready to pop this off. In addition to DXM I have Million-Blu.com, MillianBluxxx.com thedivinediamond.com, katyunmarie.com to follow up & a few more new faces with big asses in my pipeline + I travel often. My question is there are other sites besides alexa to measure site rankings or traffic to estimate how much we look to make once we launch.

I studied several other sites, but no one will disclose dollar figures, my advantage I feel is that I'm a graphic designer who fell into photography by luck so my design community is lending me a hand for a decent fare. The models on the other hand like the exposure Magazines, BLOG promotion, retouching, photography that we hand out so we keep our expenses low.

I wanna make sure that I'm making the right choices, not worried about competition or my market as much as I'm concerned with promotion & traffic.

I'm prepared to pull off a few stunts to achieve this goal but how & who do u really target???? Do I shoot more porn related photography? & is mainstream the way to go?

I have an innovative new idea's & the personnel to pull off whatever but I just want to make sure I have a semi successful start.

The real problem is going to be getting traffic.. The high traffic sites DONT link exchange like in the 90's when all this first got going.. So you are going to have to count on word of mouth and off the net marketing... Which is tricky

You wont know what you will make because it matters what keywords you rank for.



None will because it changes everyday do to traffic and conversion. For example if a site gets 10,000 visitors a day and the sale conversion is 1:100.
So if you sell at 19.99 you will roughly make $1999 a day. But this can change based on traffic and conversion.



There is no need to pull any stunts. You need just a plan and a strategy.
For porn: The content you have now do you already have the section 2257 forms.

For mainstream: If you audience like models well they can see girls on myspace and youtube. You will have to leverage myspace and youtube to get traffic and sales.

I'd say do it as a hobby first to see how you like it. It can very very expensive. Maybe try out a few affliate programs to see if you can promote other sites first. Don't quit you regular job until you are sure you can pay all the bills first.
