Why did Pavlik get all the time in the world to recuperate while Taylor was given one chance. Taylor did get his ass beat. He should have at least tried to hold on or just fall down.
He came back from a 2nd round, vicious knock down to win. He was also leading on Lederman's score card. I just never liked Taylor. I just didn't think he paid his dues. I can't wait for the rematch. It is going to be awesome.

I never really was feeling Jermaine Taylor as a fighter. I just has'nt progressed as a fighter as far as his tools and smarts. Ran outta gas trying to slug a bigger fighter.

Hey man tell the truth, how did you feel in the 2nd round? Did you think your 1500 was gone? I was pulling for an upset. I just felt it until the 2nd round. I want to see the rematch. Taylor has several poor habits as a boxer. He backs himself in corners and drops his left hand constantly. These habits lead to getting caught by a hard hitter like Pavlik. Also, when Pavlik was hurt, he took an 8 count and did what he had to to get out of the round. Taylor gets hurt and backs in a corner (same bad habit). Got caught with some uppercuts but doesn't just go down and take an 8 count like he has some sense. He slumps in the corner and forces the ref to stop the fight. What the fuck. How hard is it to keep his left hand up. If his left hand had been up, that right hand that landed flush and rocked him would have been partially blocked and much less effective. Emanuel Steward is gonna be done with this ninja because he can't listen. Emanuel has been telling him to stay out of the corners and to keep his left hand up for the last couple of fights.

Yeah, hate to say it, Taylor was out of control when he got his knockdown, cause Pavlik was finished, finito, but when Pavlik got his opportunity, let's keep it real black folk, it was a work of art, with precision punches to end it, quick stoppage but it was the right decision...I was pissed, but it's great for boxing...
