It's about time somebody came out without that generic ass NY sound. NY lost its hardcore and grimey sound a while back. Hopefully the NY trademark style of music will come back. Wutang are not dickriders, and don't deal with outsiders, so they will probably get blackballed from the radio or that "Monkey see, Monkey Do" BET or MTV. These niggas are easily the "Rolling Stones" or "Superfriends" of rap. Them industry clowns can't bully them.

generic ass new york sound?? lol, preemo and pete rock have been replaced with just blaze and 9th wonder(new generation)....... nobody wants that old shit...i'm a wu fan, but that song is garbage, you can see creatively they havent grown any...change and evolution is good.....this is the equivalent of dre coming out with a new song that had a funk sample and all synths over it......if you notice he doesnt do that anymore, alot of his beats are cinematic now (like movies), ur music has to grow and change and this is not a manifestation of it...:smh:

I heard they wasn't working with him. He said he would do a Wu album as long as they do it the right way. All the way, Rza on the beat, everybody getting along and all. But he said he doubted that would happen. :yes:

Now this could be older than what we think too.

that beat isn't a RZA beat, it's actually a Dj Scratch beat.
 
Not bad. The beat was so-so. Raekwon sounded lazy on that joint, and as usual, Ghostface is the hardest out of all of em...
