That beat sounds like a throw away Famlay track. It shouldn't even make The Neptunes catalogue of notable songs they've done... not even close. And Jays rhymes are lazily deliverred, mediocre, predictible and uninspired. This coming from a cat who digs much of Jay Z & The Neptunes work... me.

Just one man's opinion.
 
1. its lazy, you can hear the attitude (i'm jay z, i dont have to put much effort into this, it will be hot to the masses no matter what)

2. no one's being a jay z hater, we just want better.

Not lazily delivered.. its just niggas is like drones..Once they like something they want to hear that same thing forever.. And then u still cant win cause they say nigga sound the same eventually..smh.... Nigga is strong enough to switch up is flow and try something different... Something alot of these other cats out here is SCARED TO DO! They hear a walk it out song and then say let me make a dance song too just like that.... Now thats what i call fuckin lazy....

I gotta cosign... I find it even hard to listen to much of his newer shit. I know it's been pretty much all downhill since reasonable doubt where you could just play the album from beginning to end. After that, I used to do a "little skipping" of the album where there were a couple of tracks that I didn't like. Now, I only do a "little playing" where there are a couple of tracks that I dig. On list latest album, the only two tracks I still listen to are "dig a hole" and "beach-chair". I hate to say it: but Jay has lost it. This dude's creative juices are GONE...and I hope he kills that "whispering shit"...

those sayingn "his flow is lazy" and "lyrics are weak" is totally missing the concept.


He's taking it back to the 80s feel. I think its fresh for today's time. its better then 90% of the shit on the radio.
 
I think that the song has a laid back tone to it to give you the image of how easy it is to do blue magic. Not like an "I GOT MONEY BEEEEIIIIITCH!!!!!!!" type thing, but more of a "i make this money so effortlessly" flow.
 
i'd rather listen to a track with akon,t pain, j.holiday, and ja rule, and that dude that sings "shorty is a ten" singing their own lyrics,all at the same time. jigga should have left this track on a hard drive.
 
Nothing new...JayZ been wack. He's a hit or miss kind of guy. He got some hot singles in his catalog, but a lot of garbage as well.
