Yep. That was my assessment as well.
Bam is a very good player, but isn’t an elite player, imo. He wasn’t going to be able to adjust his game to fit with Giannis. And likewise, Giannis wasn’t going to be able to adjust his game.
Miami doesn’t have an identity yet, and I’m not sure what that even looks like with Giannis and Bam as the leaders of the team.

If you saying THAT we can't put Giannis in the all time great top tier level of Curry & Lebron.
He’s great but I wouldn’t say top 10 great or top 15. He’s one won chip and that had a whole lot of help with that title. Hasn’t done anything in the playoffs before or after that title! It’s not over for heat but they just ain’t a top team in the east. And they will go out early in the playoffs…

They don’t have any shooters. Klay isn’t enough. Plus, he a shell of his former self. I think the heat had a better core last year. Roles were defined and not deferred.
They’ll make the playoffs, but I’m not sure what type of season they are expecting to have. Plus, have you seen the wizards? They looking decent. Teams that wasn’t making noise in the east last year are better this year.
I wouldn't count that as a lot of help. Who else is making the hall of fame?

What I mean by a lot of help, every team they played in the playoffs got hurt. They were down 2-0 to the nets, lost Irving and Harden; down to hawks, lost Trey young, down 2-0 to Phoenix, CP got hurt and someone else got hurt. So bucks was very fortunate that year to win!!!
East is loaded. And so the heat are gonna struggle just because of better competition. On top of the makeup of their team…
With all the bad gambling headlines around the NBA, I still can't believe the expansion team is going to Vegas and not Seattle.
Seattle has an actual basketball culture that is STARVING to get their team back. The Vegas crowd will mostly tourists swept into seeing an NBA game because the opposing team has a star player that they want to see.

But one good game from AD doesn't garner a lot of optimism from me for the Wiz
AD’s role isn’t as demanding as it was in the past. He can actually exist on this wizards team without having to be the main option. He has a true facilitator as a PG who gets everyone involved.
I’m not saying the wizards are going to be a threat, but they could be a team you may not want to come across if they stay healthy late in the season.
Yessir. It’s going to be brutal for a lot of teams. Philly is play exactly how I expected them to play so far. I’m curious about Indy, Toronto, and Boston. Also, I might be sleeping on ATL. Haven’t paid much attention to them.
Not to mention Orlando Cavs Detroit and also Washington!!
