What's with the current rental/real estate? I think I may want to visit for some time.
Actually very similar to the states these days. I used to go back before her gangs took over in the late 90’s early 2000’s and that’s when it was dirt cheap. Now that Bukele has taken over and let the US dollar fly, many of the rates are the same as the states, if not higher. Now that’s not to say you can’t find deals, because you absolutely can, but it’s a lot harder these days as the price of nearly everything went up.
I found some beach lots last summer when we went that were going for $1-200k, and these were just empty lots of land. No building, no sewer lines, electrical hookups, nothing.
But I would check Airbnb. You could probably find some decent deals on there.

My point is they are using that prison as a showcase for the rest of the world on how to deal with a high volume of crime, and by buying into living there, it counts as a large vote of saying it works, and this type of policing can increase the value and status of your country.
Believe me, it would be just a matter of time before the Republicans start pushing it as the answer to all of the problems in America.

I'm with you on the fuck the gang cancer in society, but that's not what my point is. What I am saying is that by co signing with whats going on in El Salvador, you are also co-signing their tactics of getting rid of the gangs, and by doing so, it opens the door for it to become a blueprint or standard in the future.
Also, I know the U.S. had investors in the program and is treating it as a test balloon to get it to work perfectly before bringing it over here in the States.
My real issue is, what if they do bring it over here and start scooping up folks who may or may not be in gangs, and throwing them into that fucked up prison, with very little hope of coming out. To me, it can be a slippery slope leading to another version of slavery.
In my opinion, if you look at places like Chicago, where the gangs are allowed to kill other blacks with very little consequence, I believe they will be the poster boys that are pushing for the fatigue, and the supermax jails will be presented as the ultimate solution for the problem the investors helped instigate.
This is why I call the gangs and fucked up black mothers the coons that are doing everything in their power to destroy black America, by allowing themselves to be unwitting pawns working for their own demise.
