Oh FFS.....when they were up in the ropes I said out loud, something dumb is about to happen...

What the fuck was even supposed to happen? Double-clothesline spot?

What was the point of the damn spot? Were they trying to top the Ricochet-Logan Paul thing from the Royal Rumble?
Sting's son has had a cup of coffee in the wrestling business and they wanted to try a spot like that? :smh:
It's only a matter of time before someone ends up crippled (or dead) on their show doing one of these spots.

What the fuck is this....

Wwe really missing out on finley.,...lol

I was going to post the same thing, what could possibly go wrong letting a near 40 year old nepo baby who only recently got the wrestling bug after doing a silly bit at his father's retirement match wrestle in the most dangerous major promotion on live television! If he's serious then he should be at ring of honor setting up the ring, learning the ropes.

not doing matches on ppv

Ok so here goes my thoughts on AEW:

Kickoff show was cool. I actually watch these shows cuz at the end of the day, AEW is essentially the “big leagues” of the indies. Every performer they put on is dope in their own way so I like checking them out. Plus, I think it’s cool that wrestlers that may have headlined a ppv don’t mind being on a kick off show. Is it a down grade? Sure but you still being paid and u getting exposure. I think it take some humility to be able to do that. Now I could be wrong of course but eh it’s a nice thought. Anyway moving on.

Not sure what this deal is with Perry and the opps but the match wasn’t bad. Shibata was beating his ass which is actually believable. Pulling out the win was luck and it was nice to see Joe back. Joe ain’t the type to like being “summoned” so to speak so his reaction was expected. I would like to see where this goes. Personally I don’t think he’s the best fit for the opps. The opps don’t even really do much. A new faction to feud with the other factions that exist would be cool but damn, we barely see them in action so I don’t know.

Sisters of sin and queen Aminata and Mina is always nice to see (for obvious reasons lol) but they’ve been doing this dance for some weeks so not sure where they going with this?

The bang bang gang and them was just pure fun designed to play to the crowd and the love of good old football. I would like to see them take it to the callus family and the death riders. Let the factions brawl. Cuz seriously that’s all they appear to be there for. Each faction so far has at least one belt.

Personally I would like to see swerve and new level and the hurt syndicate clique up and take over but doubtful anything like that ever happens cuz you know. Too much blackness.

Andrade and pac was a great opener. Both dudes can go and neither really got the push on wwe they deserve. Yea I know they both had belts but Andrade shoulda at least fought for the HW title on wwe. And as for pac cruiser weight belts were never really showcased in wwe. Plus, pac is my height and I enjoy trying to get my physique like his and having that agility he has. Good match.

Darby and sting son was ok. Unfortunately that injury for Borden derailed his chance to showcase himself. He will be back no doubt and at least it wasn’t serious. Clearly he gotta spend more time with Darby cuz that spot was light work. By Darby standards especially.

Persophone and Luna. Cool to see Dani Luna in AEW. Guessing her contract is done with tna. Wondering if Britt is ever gonna wrestle though. She injured or what?

Ciampa and Okada was cool. Guess they not ready to put the belt on Ciampa yet. Figured since his fam was there he’d get the win.

Tag match between dominion and brawling birds was alright. Nothing super crazy out the gate but they did a pretty good job. Windsor took a harder bump than Borden did however and kept going. No offense to dude. btw anyone else notice that bayne moves kinda stiff? Like I get the whole appeal cuz she’s an Amazon and all but she just isn’t fluid in her movement. Not asking her to move like a joshi but it’s just that and her same facial expressions….i mean it’s cool. Just an observation. Gonna assume they will still be feuding with the BB.

Thekla and willow. Both ladies are cool. They nice to look at and can go in the ring. Rest of triangle of madness came out and I don’t think it was necessary but Thekla is a heel so it makes sense. Also, we do want a fresh matchup for the belt so it’s good that she’s goin against mone. I like Thekla though and I actually prefer her to hold the strap. Mone is just not it to me. I like her and I like how she left wwe and made her mark elsewhere. But as a wrestler she’s alright. Out the 4 horsewomen I wouldn’t put her 1st that’s all. I REALLY wish Athena would be the face of ROH and AEW women.

Tag belt match: spot fest of course. Why those old guys put themselves through that stuff with their age is beyond me but eh, for that money I would do it too. Big Stoke looked like his bump actually hurt though. Kinda not surprised with the bucks getting the V but there are other tag teams out there. Can’t say that the bucks haven’t let others shine so I’ll take it. Not a bad match. Wardlow return vignette following the match also gives this a nice nod.

Osprey/moxley: so pretty good match. The entrance from Will with the assassins creed homage was dope. When Mox brought out that damn briefcase that he had during his reign that really had me worried. The amount of kick outs was getting slightly out of hand but u know what, it actually wasn’t too bad. I liked seeing the BB come out to assist with marina (that broad stay interfering and nobody does anything hardly). Outcome turned out as expected for the most part. Not the greatest match but not the worst. Curious to see where this goes. Who’s his next challenger? Should be Andrade but I get the feeling that’s when MJF or someone else will show up to stake their claim.

What a piece of shit. Even in death he can't give this man some respect and call him his current name, even if he's in a different promotion.
He paid his respects and referenced his time working with him in WWE while also stating his real name. No reason to trip over him not saying Pac when 90% of the time in the post he called him by his actual name not any gimmick name

Welp. I guess we're here now.

It ain't that serious. His name (real name) is Benjamin.
I misread it. I saw in the WWE post they put, known to the WWE universe as Neville. I guess my hatred for HHH didn't allow my eyes to see that in his post. LOL. I can admit when I'm wrong.
