Checked out the Broncos/Falcons game last night and here are my Broncos only observations.
Offensive line: Looks great. Very efficient in pass protection and run blocking.
QB Room: Bo didn't play but Jarrett Stidham looked good out there. Sam Ehlinger was inconsistent.
Davis Webb: I like what I saw. Everything was done in a quick, efficient manner. From the play call, to the huddle, to getting up to the line of scrimmage. The offense feels like it has a rhythm to it. It's going to be very explosive and have a creative nuance to it that Webb can provide.
Wide receiver room: Looks good. Sutton, Bryant and Engram consistently caught the ball. Waddle didn't play.
Running back room: I like what I saw from Jonah Coleman. He has nice vision and a lot of tenacity in how he runs. He's going to be a great weapon to have. I think he'll pass up RJ Harvey as the number two back in due time. Jaleel McLaughlin could be on the outside looking in. He had some good runs but also had a costly fumble. Can't do that at this stage of the game. Dobbins didn't play.
Defense: Looks great as usual. Will be a top 3 unit once again. Defensive line was getting consistent pressure all night long. Riley Moss had a pick. Jahdae Barron had a pick 6. The talk in the off-season was about how the defense needed to generate more turnovers, so this was a good sign.
Special Teams: Had a botched field goal because a player was late running onto the field which caused everything to be rushed.
Overall, this team is very well coached and is gonna be a problem for any team to deal with.
