It's not the speed but his mechanincs that's an issue. I don't believe he is hurt. You can dip in velocity if you have movement. Barry Bonds said you can throw 106 MPH...........if it's strait, it's gonna get hit. Maybe an issue with it being psychological as well. Although the Pirates are a much better hitting team this year, feeling the neeed to be damn near perfect (He still doesn't ) get great or even average run support when he pitches) can wear on you as a pitcher. I really thing he would benefit from a change of scenery.
