Official 2026 NFL season Discussion Week 6!!!

I respectfully disagree with you about him getting those OC's fired. Now where are those 2 other OC's since they got fired? A QB knows if a OC is good or not. Now I want to see what people will say when hurts succeed under manion.

I just hate the overreaction when it comes to practice with who people want to stir shit.
I mean that goes both ways a OC knows if a QB is good or limited.

And all I been hearing is hype about how much faster Hurts is. I think the negative shit comes from the people you listen to.

Yeah but playoff Josh threw the game away against the Broncos in the playoffs. Especially that dumb ass fumble right before halftime that gave Denver a free field goal
Pat & Lamar out the playoffs. Josh had the perfect chance to make the Superbowl without having to play his two biggest rivals and he blew it.

The Chiefs were so good in the playoffs because in high pressure situations they never made huge, game changing mistakes.

How are we looking ? @jack walsh13
Howard looks pretty good

Question: How many times in NFL history has a quarterback gotten first team all pro but another quarterback won MVP that year?

Answer: In NFL history, this has happened exactly 3 times.

  1. 1987 Season
    • First-Team All-Pro QB: Joe Montana (San Francisco 49ers)
    • MVP Winner: John Elway (Denver Broncos)
    • Context: The MVP vote was heavily split among 49ers teammates Joe Montana and Jerry Rice. This allowed John Elway to secure the award with 36 votes, while Rice finished second with 30 and Montana finished third with 18.
  2. 2003 Season
    • First-Team All-Pro QB: Peyton Manning (Indianapolis Colts)
    • MVP Winners: Peyton Manning (Indianapolis Colts) & Steve McNair (Tennessee Titans) (Co-MVPs)
    • Context: Peyton Manning was selected as the sole First-Team All-Pro quarterback (edging out McNair 28½ to 16½), but the MVP voting ended in an exact tie. Manning and McNair each received 16 MVP votes, resulting in them sharing the award.
  3. 2024 Season
    • First-Team All-Pro QB: Lamar Jackson (Baltimore Ravens)
    • MVP Winner: Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills)
    • Context: Lamar Jackson secured the First-Team All-Pro honor with 30 first-place votes to Josh Allen's 18. However, several voters shifted their ballots for the Most Valuable Player award, allowing Allen to edge out Jackson 383 to 362 in total MVP points to win his first MVP award.

49ers new WR2

Dude was nice at Ole Miss so I’m not surprised. Kept hearing his name this summer so yeah SF got them one

I really had not been paying attention to the practices
A couple months back when you asked about putting Stribling on your fantasy team
I was like..... "Nah we good with Ricky Pearsall as the #2 WR"
Bruh.......... I was so so wrong :(

They said he asked for the copy of his Heisman from LSU.

I could understand if the dude taken the number name is Daniel's also but it's not so where is the name, image, and likeness. What if they don't want Burrows number and they want 5 to model after you. (Guess I just answered my own question that is the likeness. Hell he may actually have a case.) But was that in the contract that no other QB or player can wear number 5.

I don't believe there's any contract. Just a Heisman winner that thought his number would be immortal, like Joe Burrow's has been. Brian Kelly offered #5 to DJ Pickett, probably the last incentive to get him to commit to LSU. When Pickett got there Kelly never went thru with it cause Jayden opposed it and Kelly has loyalty to Daniels because he was the head coach when Jayden won the Heisman.

This failure that continues to get great opportunities cause of his name & skin color, Lane Kiffin couldn't care less about Kelly or Jayden. Also Pickett may have threatened to transfer if he didn't get #5.

Florida has a rule that no jerseys get retired so a couple players have worn Tebow's #15. LSU after 2007 said all numbers that aren't currently retired, (Billy Cannon, Pistol Pete & Shaq), can still be used by new players.

I thinks its really dumb though because there are 99 numbers players can choose from and out of 1.5 to 2 million college football players, only 91 have won the Heisman. With the new NIL rules I think that number and player would be a premium for colleges.

Kellen Moore seems to get a lot out of hurts and had no problem being the OC which has won the SB that year.

Let's see if KP is really a good OC in a low pressure environment with the dolphins.

The negative shit about hurts be the ones you see on national tv.

But all I'm saying that there's just as many bad or average and below average QBs who never get the same smoke nor heat like hurts.

He’s overrated to me and he does dumb shit but he’s a good player. If he had teams as good as the Eagles he would have more success.
Let's stop the excuses when the media be hyping them up being a good team. Same motherfuckas who had the bills winning that game against the eagles last seasons.
