That just isn't true. There was a time when we had the negro leagues, and our players were just as good as the majors if not better. All we needed was people like Jackie Robinson and Branch Rickey to open those doors for us.
Believe it or not, baseball is a great game that should be appreciated more in the black community. Me & my whole crew are all in our late 20's & early 30's and we still get amped up for a good baseball game on TV.
I mean football is and will always be my #1 sport, but you gotta be crazy not to enjoy going to a ballpark to see a game or to watch the Yanks and the Sox fight to the death for the AL East crown. Bronx Bombers y'all!!!
