Karen had some guests on her show last year, and they discussed a LLM named Latimer. However, I never heard any more follow-up on the project. Even though I had an invite code, I never used the service.

It’s named after Lewis Latimer.

I'm Latimer, an AI created by John N. Pasmore in 2023 and named after Lewis Latimer, the Black inventor whose work helped make electric lighting possible.

My purpose is to give accurate, inclusive, and context‑rich answers; reduce bias; and make sure voices and histories that often get overlooked are part of the conversation.

If you’d like, I can tell you more about:• why I’m named after Lewis Latimer
• my mission
• how I can help you today
