The Official 2025/2026 NBA Season - The New York Knicks Are The 2026 NBA CHAMPIONS!!!

THANK YOU!!!

Yup. Tatum making $63 million a year and then if they give JB an extension next year he would cost about $70 million a year. That's $130 million a year between 2 players...That would cripple any team with signing other players.....You could make it work still (being creative with the numbers), but PE ain't trying to do that lol They looking to maximze profit lol

Here are the critical financial figures for the 2026–2027 season: [1, 2]
  • Salary Cap: $164.961 million
  • Luxury Tax Level: $200.428 million
  • Minimum Team Salary (Floor): $148.465 million
  • First Apron Level: $209.015 million
  • Second Apron Level: $221.686 million

It seems to be personal because why would you pay jaylen brown all that money after they won a championship 2 years ago to all of a sudden want to trade him to their rival for 2 first round picks and 2 second round picks.

There's something else that happened that they won't tell nobody about.

Brown didn't even demand a trade.

PG and his horrible contract for what the celtics got in return is a step backwards.
Because all the contracts were signed "before the sale".
The past owners of the Celtics signed the entire 2024 championship Celtics to contracts that would keep them together for 3 to 4 years.
Then the new owners came in after the championship and got rid of everyone to get under the 2nd apron to make an early profit.

I would pump the brakes on saying he's the executive of the year before witnessing this team win it all. To each their own!

As far as everything else that you've said, I agree with.

Brad and Co. is supposed to be having a press conference about the trade but I don't believe they will tell the truth for why they've traded brown and his value being low after the season he's had and the team being the #2 in the eastern conference even though boston lost in the first round.

But brown has not gotten the respect he deserves and I believe this would be a fuel to prove everyone wrong about him.

Pierce even said how they traded him to celtics back then and he used that as a motivation and fuel to win a championship with boston to prove that trade was a mistake.

Paul Pierce was drafted by the celtics.
