Word on the street, and I think it was mentioned on here. That Brown requested a trade after the season ended.
So he wanted to leave, then his talks on his stream showed his mentality. I don't remember exactly what was said, but it sounded like there was trouble in paradise.
Then we know that his name was included with trade talks for Giannis, so when that fell through we all KNEW that Brown was leaving.
We all know that Brown's worth more than the Celtics got for him, but I'm guessing the market started drying up and they needed to get something done.
We know that they called all around and I guess that's the best that they could do?
