Iran vs Israel/US: Israel saying Iran plan to attack them before Israeli midterm elections, Iran saying israel planning a strikes on Iran

Speaking to Al Mayadeen, Professor Mohammad Marandi asserted that Iran never expected the United States to implement the memorandum of understanding, stressing that the "Iranians have no trust in the #Trump regime."

He also added that "Iran knew that the #UnitedStates would drag its feet as much as possible," arguing that it had agreed to electronic signatures without a formal ceremony because of that distrust, adding that Iran's leverage lies in its control of the Strait of Hormuz.

Marandi further asserted that "#Iran won the war," and warned that "Iran will continue to use that leverage" until the US fulfills its commitments, saying the future of the agreement depends on whether the US ultimately honors its side of the deal.

As for the signed framework agreement between the Lebanese authorities and the Israeli occupation, Professor Marandi said it is an attempt by Washington to violate the US-Iran MoU and an attempt by the US to "undermine the agreement".

No surprise here...

As war continued erupting across the Middle East, Donald Trump was posting that the Iran memorandum of understanding is going to make American farmers and truckers rich.

Let's be clear: none of that is in the agreement.

Donald Trump has spent his entire career as a con man. A deal breaker, not a deal maker. He signs an agreement, then immediately starts violating it while selling Americans promises that don't exist.

Iran and Lebanon’s Speakers Vow to Force Israel Out of Lebanon, Reject Washington Deal

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and his Lebanese counterpart Nabih Berri spoke by phone today about ending the war in Lebanon, according to Ghalibaf’s office, with both men rejecting the separate Israel-Lebanon framework signed in Washington.

Ghalibaf said ending the war was a core part of the first clause of the US-Iran Islamabad memorandum, and that after Iran flagged violations during the Switzerland talks, the parties agreed to form a deconfliction cell between Iran, the US, and Lebanon to enforce it

He reiterated Iran’s goals: “the return of displaced people to their homes, the removal of occupation, and the exit of the Zionist regime from Lebanese territory”

Berri, according to Iran’s readout, called the rival deal “a conspiracy and sedition,” and said Israel was trying to bypass Lebanese sovereignty “by other means”

Both pressed for the deconfliction cell to convene sooner

The exchange shows Tehran and its Lebanese allies working to route the Lebanon ceasefire through the Iran-US channel, even as U.S. and Israel seek to sideline Iran with a deal that entrenches Israel’s occupation of southern Lebanon and conditions any pullback on disarming the Lebanese resistance

Politico reported on Israel's growing isolation on the global stage.

Jay D. Vance stated that Israel's status as a special ally of the United States is no longer guaranteed in the future.

According to Politico, Vance noted that Israel is in international isolation, and the changing attitude towards it by American voters, especially young Republicans, requires a new approach.

The vice president added that Donald Trump remains "the only head of state in the world who currently sympathizes with Israel".

However, as the publication points out, the US president is dissatisfied with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's requests to intensify military actions in Iran and believes that he is "too enthusiastic" about military operations. Against the backdrop of cooling relations, Netanyahu has significantly reduced the number of visits to Washington and telephone contacts with the American leadership.

BREAKING: Iranian state media says it has now "no choice but to obtain the atomic bomb" to remove "the military option for the occupation and partitioning of Iran" from the table, arguing Iran must "absolutely reach nuclear deterrence" before current negotiations can be conducted "from a correct position," per Fars.

Iran adds the acquisition is not only driven by negotiation leverage but also by Trump's two recent nuclear threats against Iran, including his April warning that "a whole civilization will die tonight" and his May threat of "one big glow coming out of Iran."

This is also among the most direct nuclear weapons advocacy published on Iranian state media to date.

Once the supreme leader says it
Then it’s likely to happen

Hell I don’t think they need a nuk to deal with Israel

Iran doesn't need a nuke for neither Israel nor the U.S., but maybe they will test one after the last few remaining U.S. Bases are wiped out next. Now that would be a global show stopper.

them dudes testing a Nuke would have Washington answering a shit load of questions

Please explains to me how

"Obama tried to pay them off.....he tried to bribe them...... he threw money at them."
($1.7 Billion of their froze assets returned) = Bad

"We have an MoU and it should be agreed soon"
($24 Billion in frozen assets returned + 300 BILLION ($X in tax payer money) given to them = A Great Deal?!!

That's just raw numbers, not the $200 billion this "operation" has costed already, the $400 Billion in inflation, the lives lost, the cost to rebuild 20 bases, the depleted munitions......etc

When No. 47 says "it's a great deal", Red Hatters mobilize to do all kinds of SPIN gymnastics from some of the online comments I've read.

On a side note, there won't be any rebuilding of U.S. Military Bases. Iran is effectively reshuffling the geopolitical deck of cards in that region. Effectively evicting the U.S from the region is part of that. That global shift is happening is real time.

There’s talks about the new bases going underground, so rebuilding definitely seems less likely

That would be smart since America is slow to the underground military party, (with Iran having underground/ invisible missile silos /bases already)......

Well part of the MoU is for Americans troops to leave the area. Building underground bases would go against the understanding

Which Washington have already went against in the 7 days since signing
