They gotta move more players to make room on their roster. That's why trades like these are dumb. Teams rather mortgage the future for injury prone players that's are past their primes to think star chasing is the way to a championship.

We've seen that not being the case because teams need depth and being top haven't isn't good when your bench isn't solid.

KD is a perfect example of what it took to get him and dude couldn't stay healthy enough to help the rockets in the playoffs.

Minnesota just doing shit. They only shipped Randle cuz NY won with Towns. They couldn’t bare to face the reality that that was a dumb ass trade like a lot of us said. Minnesota only proved one thing with that trade, they didn’t need Towns to beat Denver. Other than that, worst trade in a long damn time

Realistically speaking, Minny wasn't winning shit with Towns. He was there 9 years, years 10 and 11 would've been no different.

He needed to glide under Brunson's wings to get a championship.

In my opinion.

I want to disagree BUT I can’t. Cuz there was no reason why they lost to Dallas in the WCF that year. So yeah, you got it Red lol

I'm not hating and I wish everyone success, ok most people.

He's a champion now, but he was known to come up smedium in Minnesota and NY.

I checked his Finals stats, and the issue in Minnesota is that they wanted and NEEDED him to be a scorer. A dominant scorer.

They don't and didn't need him to be that for the Knicks. Yes sometimes they needed him to step up and score, but they played team basketball so a few others would always chip in to balance out the scoring for the sidekicks.

Brunson's gonna get his, he just needed a few other players to get between 12-20 a game. And they did it.

In game 4 where the a Knicks came back from 29 down, KAT had 13. And in game 5 when they came back again and clinched the series, he had 2.

He did come through with the rebounds though.

So as long as he's not required to be "The Guy", he'll do great. The same with Julius Randle, he's not a main guy either.
