Isn't that largely a powerless position? The delegate can't vote on any legislation.

Yeah I wouldn't say it's a powerless position. Yes, the delegate can't vote on the floor and lead committees, but they can introduce bills, serve on committees, and get funding for DC....

Like Congressman Norton brought in a lot of money into the DC and helped bring Homeland Security headquarters into the city....The DC tuition grant was big because any high school student can get money to go to any college in the USA.....
She old and White is a solid dude so he will very active regardless of his limited power....

No surprise that most people on the leaked Dialog list are associated with the right and far-right side of the political spectrum, both in the U.S. and abroad. But WIRED didn’t mention any of the following names from the list — all of whom are prominent Democrats or associated with left-leaning political media in America:

• Cory Booker (U.S. Senator, New Jersey)
• Jared Polis (Governor of Colorado)
• Wes Moore (Governor of Maryland)
• Julián Castro (Obama administration U.S. HUD Secretary)
• Robert Rubin (Clinton administration Treasury Secretary)
• Lawrence Summers (Clinton administration Treasury Secretary)
• Reid Hoffman (major Democratic donor; LinkedIn cofounder)
• Nick Thompson (CEO of The Atlantic)
• Ezra Klein (NYT opinion columnist; founder/former editor-in-chief of Vox)

As a Democrat, I’d like to know if these guys are actually on our side or not?

The original source for the Dialog leak/list is on Bluesky, as shown in the attached screenshots.
