While MSG previously had an indefinite ban on Oakley following a 2017 altercation, the arena's ownership has recently extended invitations to him. However, Oakley refuses to return until he receives a public apology from Knicks owner James Dolan for how he was treated and removed from the arena in handcuffs. The two sides remain locked in long-running civil litigation.
Wife said are you happy your team won. I said it was good to see them win but I can't call them my team anymore. Yeah I have jerseys, had posters and blankets(when i was a kid). But I cut the Knicks and the NBA off years ago. Tired of the bad draft picks, bad trades, or selling players off every year for a big time free agent that never came there.
Congrats to all the fans who stayed through the turmoil that was this franchise. I still remember when they took 3 small forwards one draft, why. Or taking that center that Vince Carter dunked on in the Olympics and said no way I am not coming to the states now. Brutal seasons to watch with so many coaches that came to receive check.
This year from the opening tip-off I watched the NBA not even sure why. Normally I watch part of the finals and yell its rigged. It sucks I can't enjoy the win. I was the one cutting off the game when they were down double digits in the 4th, only to wake up numerous times to see they won. I had no faith like Starks in the 4th quarter.
Now that I let go of the Dolphins I guess they are up next.
