I see so much propaganda for and against Mamdani that it is difficult to know the truth. BGOL is full of pro-democrat propaganda so it isn’t a good source so I just defer to the sentiment of black NYers. The sentiment is not great but he is barely a year in.

For context, this actually occurred under Adams’s administration, Mamdani has nothing to do with it.

We are nation of criminal and civil laws, right? I’ll be coy and say that Lorraine Hansberry’s uncle was a Chicago slumlord. If a property manager is breaking the law, we have to do the legal thing and prosecute them, right?

I don’t think there’s any connection. NY Jews don’t support Netanyahu and even if they did, slumlords would be a microscopic percentage of them.

This isn’t about creating chaos, it’s about protecting poor tenants.
