The Official 2025/2026 NBA Season - The New York Knicks Are The 2026 NBA CHAMPIONS!!!

Damn

It was all good just a week ago

Wemby was the damn new titan and now...

Nothing?
A lot can change in a week. One week you're poised to be a champion, and the next you're half way to Cancun.

Damn not even 40, the defense made a difference this game but the first he still had 30. Yeah Kat should mvp...all 3 spurs supa stars had 4 to's
He had 30 points in first game 13 of them in the 4 quarter.. as I said in game 1 they took castle off him and he erupted… they played castle on him again this game and he made Brunson struggle again.. problem is he got into foul trouble and had to sit last 8 mins in second quarter.. that’s when Knicks went on a run.. they are slowly learning from each mistake each game.. hopefully they play much better 3rd game.. like I said keep castle on Brunson.. wemby need to make higher percentage shots closer to the basket, stop shooting the ball from far when nobody on offense down low to get a rebound… castle, fox, Harper attack the basket more on offense and finish( they actually can bully Knick guards especially Brunson).. hit your free throws

That’s the story of the Knicks franchise

I need the streak to continue

Welp I hate to break it to you. But the Knicks have won 13 games straight.

Anything's possible, kinda. But the chances of them losing 4 out of the next 5 games when 3 games at home's HIGHLY unlikely.

So your best bet is to get on that Knick train, and start getting ready for lots celebrations.

Because the Knicks are about to taste success for the first time in 53 years.

They KILLING that boy

And crowned him king a week ago

Gawd damn.

Yup

But they were already saying he was a monster right now.

You can't rush the process

And you cant heap ALL that praise and a few minutes later say he trash.
Winning changes everything, and losing also changes everything.

In a loss one bad pass here, a couple of bad missed shots there. And it's "Oh he's fucking up, he sucks, he's not ready, he's choking".

And in a win, it hides that you're not actually playing well, but if you hit shots at opportune times. Then it looks like you're doing great...

Like Jalen Brunson. His team's winning so there's no talking about how he's actually shooting.

7-31 in game 1, 7-25 in game 2.

But he's winning and Wemby's losing. So with losing and how you're losing will draw criticisms and critiques.

But Wemby's not trash, just a few bad shots and one bad pass.

Before the series started I wondered who would win the battle the team that was rested or the one battle tested.

It’s looking like rest wins thus far.

I did not see 0-2. Spurs youth seems to be catching up at times.

It’s all a learning experience. When you get to the Finals you may never yet back. But I feel this Spurs team won’t have to worry about that. They’ll be back and soon.

Knicks also look good and you know when the playoffs start role players are big at home. Seeing Knicks being able to go to Alvarado, Shamet, McBride and Mitchell is pretty good.

Knicks are the Cowboys. Or was. So it’s hard to believe they are this good and don’t choke but seems as if this Knicks team is built different. Good stuff Knicks.

I picked the Spurs mainly because they had more depth & I thought Johnson would be big this series. Harper is doing his thing but thats about it for the Spurs bench.

Another factor is Mike Brown is outcoaching Mitch Johnson big time. Brown been in the trenches as a finals coach & the experience is showing. He's had them playing excellent the whole playoffs.

Yeah, but sometimes it's the other way around when young coaches be out coaching a vet.

That's why if pop was still coaching that things would've been different

I actually picked the spurs to win as well because of their depth and being younger with nobody being able to stop wemby.

Clearly this young coach isn't ready for the pressure yet.

All that yelling isn't gonna change the outcome until they make some adjustments drawing up better plays for their players.

Johnson needs to do better with his rotations. In game 1 he should have let Harper finish the game instead of Fox when Fox was struggling.

He also needs to utilize a double big lineup with Kornet & Wemby imo. Knicks are way more physical & they're wearing down Wemby. I'd use the double big lineup & play a 3-2 zone on them to mix it up a little.

They better change something or else they'll get swept.

Game 3 in the Garden I would start off running, just to tire out Wemby. Switch out 2 players at the 2 min mark then every dead ball til they sit him. Then run your normal offense. He has no endurance.

Glad someone else noticed Mike winning the coaching battle.
